Disco lock seems strong, with the new draw card. But got my pack with the same deck from last time.

    Quote from PDaniel2001 >>

But what if I keep both of them until the hall of fame patch? I get 3200 from the golden (I keep the golden) and I disechant the normal (1600 dust).   (I already HAVE the normal, Im thnking of crafting the golden)

You DO NOT get full refund for the normal when you disenchant it. You get the dust (no need to disenchant) ONLY for the highest version you have. For Leeroy, you get to options:

    1. Do nothing, get 1600 dust for normal. Result: +1600 dust and regular Leeroy

    2. Craft golden (-3200 dust), get 3200 dust for golden, disenchant regular (+400 dust). Result: +400 dust, golden Leeroy, a lot of bling and some salty opponents been killed from hand.

You can seee this as an opportunity to "upgrade" your Leeroy for 1200 dust you give up.

posted a message on If I shuffle cards with reduced cost into my deck and draw them, will the cost still be decreased?
    Quote from EqKizo >>

No, they wont be reduced. I played a lot of quest warlock

I can second that. Lots of questlock games. No reduction sticks: neither Emperor nor the 0-cost due to quest hero power.

Some time ago they explained that any changes (buffs in minnions, cost reductions, etc) would only be kept while cards moved "forward on the natural cycle of gameplay", which is deck -> hand -> play.

This means a minion that is buffed in deck keeps the buff when draw and when played. But a buffed minnion that cames back to hand or to deck does not keep the buff. The same apllies for cost reductions in hand, when the cards move "backwards" to the deck.

The obvious exceptions are cards that state otherwise, like Kingsbane and that paladin dude.

Started first brawl, opponent (hunter maybe - I do not remember) conceded immediately.... wtf?!??

Depending on the brawl and how soon I play it, I always concede some games after getting my pack. It costs me almost no time and can save people from strugling to get a FUCKING PACK WITH 40 DUST AGAIN!!!

I am not! I am multiplying the pick rate for 8, the number of players, to get the chance any hero will be in a given game.

After that, I multiply it by the hero´s winrate, to get how many wins that hero will get, on average.

The WR is calculated base on the games that hera was played, not all games in the format. If you want to know how many games were won by lich kings, you have to multiply the WR by the "picked rate", and then by 8, since there are 8 players on each game. This means that around 2,26% of all games are won by Lich Kings (1 in 44), and one in ten games is won by a Brann.

This is still not perfect, since the picks are not independent, thus the 102,58% of the games, but is close enough to what you want, a real "overall winrate" and is as far as I´m willing to go without metadata from the software.

Hero Win rate Pick rate Pick rate x8 Win %
    1. Brann Bronzebeard 17,88% 6,97% 55,76% 9,97%

posted a message on Free ticket on rotation
    Quote from Sinti >>

They reset when they remove cards from the pool, not when they add (except for special events obviously). So they reset only at the start of the HS year when rotation happens, not every expansions.

That being said, the reset should come more often from ROS goin forward, if they intend to switch up the sets twice per expansion.

This expansion they will remove cards from the pool, since they will change the whole arena system to have a few selected sets, from both standard and wild. The patch notes read:
"With Rise of Shadows, the Arena will start a regular rotation of available cards from both new and older expansions. To kick things off, the available cards will have a decidedly… E.V.I.L. theme. Here’s which sets you’ll have access to when choosing cards in the Arena, starting April 9:

    • Basic
    • Classic
    • Naxxramas
    • Whispers of the Old Gods
    • Mean Streets of Gadgetzan
    • The Witchwood
    • Rise of Shadows

Today after the patch hit I got the "We are finishing your run when the rotation happens" warning.

This usually means they will refund the arena run, at least so far. I will just play this to two losses and let it get retired.
