its cause this brawl had some busted combos last time it was in wild
Okay but is this going to be the excuse form now on with brawls? because I understand why wild cards are kept our of competitive ladder, but this is a brawl, it's for FUN.
If this keeps up It's going to de-value wild cards to the point where they should be discounted, because at this rate more than 50% of all the cards in the game are never going to be played again.
This looks super fun, I'll report back play testing this-
The idea I had was to Combo Violet Illusionist with as many Bloodbloom as possible in 1 turn (which is 3) and you get 3, maybe even 4 (hopefully) with Chittering Tunneler, and the fastest you can possibly pull off the entire combo is in 3 turns (a stretch, to be sure)
Actually very nice thoughts about next meta. However there are few things I can disagree.
Big Spell mage with Deck of Wonders will be a thing. However it will be running ice blocks, but will not run ravens and spitefull summoners.
What "burn/aggro mage" you are talking about? 0_o burn-aggro was a deck with low cost minions, frostnovas and lances/tourches. mage doesn't have utlities for such play now. Or you mean a control mage with arcane wyrms, pyroblast and alexa?
And a question :) Have you teorycrafted about CW? Do you think it will run 2x DMH or it is really overburdened on 2 cost cards and 1x will be enough?
I don't think Deck of Wonders will ever be in a competitive deck for one reason: Why would you run it over Cabalist's Tome?
The aggro mage he's talking about is probably Secret Mage which has been strong in the past few metas. The addition of Aluneth will make the deck stronger.
Secret mage will be good with new facedamage secret ofc. But Aluneth... I'll better play hydra or secret+crystal runner on t6. Secret mage on curve needs to establish threats and play secrets to prevent removals. Aluneth is more a card which is needed if you run out of gas and already loosing. Maybe if I'll take it for free I'll try instead of one Bonemare or one Apprentice.
About deck of wonders - it doesn't require you spent mana on cast and it can be game breaking. Also it is a power for Dragon's Fury in case you still have ice block or even glyph in the deck.
Yes, I can't wait to cast Pyroblast at my own face, or potentially heal/help my opponent.
Sorry, but there isn't a chance in hell this card will be anything more than a meme.

The problem with Ele mage is it lacks a win condition outside of "Value Generation", and in this meta it just doesn't work as well.

Honestly trying to cram the Evolve cards in there messes up your win conditions for both archetypes imo.
Also just copy the BBC code of your deck and everyone wont have to click a link to see the list.

The Darkness starts out as "Dorment", the same way Sherazin, Corpse Flower goes dorment when he dies until you activate his effect, and you can not Shadowstep that.
