It's horrible. As has been discussed in other threads, the game is being balanced for sales instead of gameplay. All you can do is stop spending money until they fix this shit.
before, the patch announcement it was 100% secret paladin, face hunter and mech mage so it doesn't seem to be different from what you are experiencing now.

The real problem when it comes to having more diverse decks is the 30 card limit. Ages ago 30 cards would be fine but now with all the new expansions with any deck you're making there's so many auto includes you can only change a couple of cards.
Like Dr boom goes everywhere... If you're making a slower hunter you need houndmaster and highmanes if you're making a druid you need bgh and lores.

Just wish people would spark some more creativity into their decks
I find that to be the most fun thing about hearthstone
This please. Come on guys, get creative
What's the incentive? Does creativity win you games? You can be as creative as u want, i'll stick to my 65% win rate.
If you can learn to build your own decks, then you build a deck that can be used to counter the meta, rather than just getting roflstomped by the meta.

Top 1 Legend?
The ones that ARE do just that. Note that all of these paladins/hunters/mech mages aren't exactly in high legend either.
Thing is, being able to creatively make competitive decks is a very rare treat most can't possess. PLAYING decks in a card game is much MUCH easier than actually CREATING an effective deck. Most don't try. Most of the ones that do fail then blame the meta for being the cause of the failure of their 'best' deck.
The few that can make their own decks and counter the meta? You aren't fighting them since they already ARE at legend, making and tweaking those power list decks.

I've got a better shot than someone that just net decks.
I'm at rank seven right now, and honestly the diversity is the best it's been in a while. I see midrange hunter, midrange paladin, secret paladin, freeze mage, tempo mage, control warrior, gp warrior, handlock, demon handlock, totem shaman, and even some rogue play. dragon priest seems to be fading but i still see a few. when i think back to six months ago, it was like 50% face hunter. I much prefer how things are now. Not perfect, but moving in the right direction.

I don't need to counter the meta, nor do i get roflstomped by the meta.
I am the meta, i do the roflstomping. It is the OP and others who are complaining that they get roflstomped by efficient decks.
It's great to be playing against a wide variety of classes again. Dear Blizzard, you really know how to balance the game : )

And all three of those decks belong to paladin

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Are you top 1 legend?

But it does give you stuff like this:

I would say Hunter and Pally are the most common foes I'm facing also. But, plenty of other classes too.

I'm seeing significantly more Warriors this weekend compared to the last few weeks. I think a lot of people are giving Patron one last hurrah.
Nope.
