I really like this interaction. It's cool, funny, and only impacts less than 1% of games where the guy is played. Or that's how it used to. The fact that Zephyrs, one of the most played cards in standard, literally just becomes "battlecry: win" against Jaraxxus is stupid. In my opinion, as long as Zephyrs is in standard this interaction should be removed. They can change it back once zephyrs rotates, but until then can we get a quality of life change for everyone's favorite ereader lord?
I really don't mind if Jaraxxus become a hero card without gain any armor, the same hero power and Battlecry "Set your life to 15 and equip a 3/8 weapon."
I like the idea, but I don't think getting rid of the interaction is the best way to go about it since it would be confusing for new players. Maybe just making it so zephyrus no longer offers sac pact, but I honestly don't think that is enough to make Jarraxus playable.

How would it be confusing to new players? Most new people probably dont even know about the interaction. If anything, it would make the card less confusing because then the interaction would match Mal'Ganis and Light's Champion. It's also not like morgl and mecha-jaraxxus die to tech cards. This interaction is the exception, not the rule.
I don't think that Zephyrs should lose sac pact because it ruins the whole "perfect card" aesthetic. He definitely shouldn't just ignore Jaraxxus. Even if it did he'd still give you sac pact for the internals, and then you could just target Jaraxxus instead. It would be much simpler to just not let the card target Jaraxxus.
As a side note, imagine being a new player, opening your first legendary, and playing it, only to autolose to an obscure interaction you couldn't have known about.
I'm not saying that Jaraxxus would be good, I just don't think he should be 9 mana, battlecry: lose the game.
In fairness, this has never actually happened to me, but I've always thought that the interaction was pretty funny originally, since it was only really possible (barring some weird flukes) for it to happen if the opponent was a Warlock. However, now that any and every class playing Zephrys has the free option for an instant auto-win card AND it essentially nullifies another card (and even worse, a legendary) from ever being played, means that it is not a great thing anymore and probably should just be removed from the wish list (in my opinion).
Blizzard should do this, but hey, who cares about Warlock anyway? Do yourself a favor and forget about this class. After 5 years of maining Warlock, I gave up on him and now I'm in the Druid fan club. And you know what? My experience with HS has improved by 200%, so I highly recommend it!
I hate the fact that there is always a card that somehow forces Jaraxxus out of meta. For the last two years, poor Jaraxxus' slot in decks was overtaken by Bloodreaver Gul'dan, and now, when Death Knights finally rotated, they print Zephrys just to make Jaraxxus unplayable for the next two years. And I'd really like to see a deck with Jaraxxus in it which is meta-viable.
i was playing a control warlock with barysta omega defender and mr Jaraxxus in the previous exp, i really had fun with it and jaraxxus was really playable ! first game of uldum and got wrecked by zephyris. I used to tech sacrificial pact for countering the mirror back in the days but this is just retarded. i came back to hs 2 week later and ista crafted zephyris btw. Yea they know Jaraxxus is prob the most loved card ( also the same reason they had done mecha-jaraxxus) and they know that a lot of players got jaraxxus, and for this reason they always had make it impossible to play in the last years. (just some complottism but it really piss me off)
Zephyrs is quite broken. What's the point of top deck rng to save you or win you the game when there is a card that can do that anytime. Zephyrs in played now in all decks even with duplicates.. that should say something about how OP this card is. Priest can get flame strike, mage can get flare... huh!? Lol but, I love that card haha
Maybe the Warlock should try not to play Jaraxxus when they know the opponent is a singleton deck? Just a thought.
Just because you have it in your deck doesn't mean you have to play it. It certainly doesn't mean you have an absolute god-given right to play it and win because you played it.
If you're dumb enough to play into this interaction, you deserve to lose.

What you really need is a time machine, then. Jaraxxus was everywhere for the first couple of years of the game. People who played back then are understandably tired of seeing it.
If Jaraxxus were still playable and as popular as it was back then, people would be calling for it to be sent to the Hall of Fame.

Agree, this interaction is stupid. Jaraxxus is completely unplayable in any format where Zephrys and this interaction exist. Its not like Jaraxxus is even a good card but he should at least be playable. Warlock pretty much can't have a late game strategy that doesn't involve plot twist as long as they don't have access to an alternative hero power (the Quest one doesn't count as its still draw and plot twist reliant) because life tap becomes useless in the later stages of the game.
I play Lord Jaraxxus on rank 10 (sometimes a bit higher) and I've never lost to Zephrys the Great + Sacrificial Pact combo so far. Most of my opponents use Zephrys early or I win/lose before they play him.
A perfect card is a perfect card in the end. Just deal with it. And your opponent's world is still doomed.

We got salty warlock over here must of gotten sack pact by Zephrys lol 😂 .

I exist, I think.

Sac Pact should have never worked on a hero in the first place. That's just stupid and an obscene way for rogues to beat warlock.
Fun > Meta

I'd be happy for just a switcheroo of his stats tbh...

Or... If you're playing against a deck that has Zephyrs, don't play Jaraxxus until they play Zephyrs.
That seems far more reasonable than having Blizzard change game code that literally effects no one!
Zephrys wins this trade also.

Why do you want to play Jaraxxus, Zephyrys or not? It's not like it's even remotely playable in today's meta anyway.
