another deck will come forward as oppressive and have a huge winrate... people will call for nerfs on that deck... the struggle will go on and on... leave it be, but make cards in future expansions that hardcounter cards like barnes...
1 mana 1/1 battlecry: add 5 whisps into both decks... done...

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
Anyways... Yea, Big Priest decks are definitely unhealthy for any mode of the game. Repeating stuff like resurrect mechanic are annoying and brainless.
About Even Shaman... Now, many people call this decks broken, but they are not, because any control deck can easily beat them... Buuuuut... they can't exist because of ressurect priest, so again we are at my first point.
1xbenx1 has once (or more) said that balancing Wild is a Sisyphean task. While I don't agree that this should mean Blizzard never touches the mode, he certainly had a point.
In Wild, there are many, many possible decks. So many it becomes impossible to ban all your counters with only 3 cards to remove, or even 5. Even if I banned Baku, Genn and Eternal Servitude, I could still be destroyed by jades, mill rogue or Renolock, and this is just looking at Control counters.
With bans, the problem fixes itself in the way Blizzard used to hope it would: by the players themselves.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished

Token Druid?
not even token druid could do that, it is just such a horrible draw.

I often wait minutes for an opponent in Wild. Start adding bans and that time will double at least.
Bans are a bad idea in ladder in Standard, but absolutely retarded in Wild.

Not sure where you are, but all the way to rank 5 I rarely wait more than 10 seconds to face off against opponents. Casual is pretty much the same. Also, if you somehow think bans in Wild are in any way worse than in Standard, you probably should not fling around the words "absolutely retarded" too loosely.

When will people finally understand? Nerfs aren't the answer. Don't people realize that the present population of degenerate decks is the direct result of nerfing the last generation of degenerate decks? Everything will be fine if...my ass.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I don't like big priest and hope it gets nerfed, but mostly because it has so few interresting matchups, and most games are stomps, both wins and losses, 100% depending on draws and rng.
Even shaman probably needs another nerf to be brought in line. No, I don't think control decks have an easy time dealing with them. Which ones do you have in mind? They can even tech the windfury cards for more burst. The only saving grace for even shaman is that no single turn seems unfair and you have time to react, it just doesn't have any real weaknesses.
Wild is still ok, though, and even without those decks others would take their place.
If blizzard change Devolve in Even Shaman and Barnes in Big Priest then Wild Mode will have so much variety of decks it will be great.
Make Devolve 3 mana and Barnes 6 mana. Easy fix
... Really ? This again ? Come on...
Very true

Nope. Then will be renolock or something else.

I'll say nerf Barnes and Eternal Servitude to oblivion! And delete Baku and Genn from this mode.
So you want to Nerf Barnes as hard as Naga Sea Witch? That's cool and all, but what about the rest of us that don't play Big Priest?
For instance, my Renounce Darkness deck consists of 28 Spells, Barnes and Ragnaros the Firelord. A Nerf like that would ruin an already Meme laden deck.
Fuck that.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
The answer is always bans.

Barnes isn't the problem. The resurrect mechanic is.
People trying to wild I don’t think blizzard cares enough for wild mode. If they cared to remove bots from the game that would be improvement

and every other mode, baku and genn were huge mistakes

Just make the minion Barnes summon a 1/1 that has the text of a minion in your deck. This way you only res a 1/1.
