legend many times over and dont even care to do that anymore and I cant understand how someone cant get to rank 15. You can hit 5 with one card in the game..whizbang. Hearthstone is so complicated it took my 8 year old a week to get 15 with nothing but the premade decks.
I laugh at the hsreplay stuff everyone quotes. stats are nothing but stats. I beat spellhunter with odd rogue all the time.
Clearly the crowd here hasn't figured out much or hasnt played more than a few days.
You are the crowd I farm quest and gold cap at rank 20-15 while i just abuse the mmr system. Hell i get free wins from playing with a legendback a lot of the time when the opponent just concedes..thanks for the laughs
I don't even want to gut poor rogue of it's overpowered cold blood and fungalmancer as it's only viable deck is odd rogue because hunters are shutting all the rest out. Unless dog's spell power 1 takes off.
Having multiple good archetypes is 1 thing, having the majority of tier 1 decks and completely shaping the meta is another.
I'm also for nerfing fungalmancer, cold blood and blessing of might to tone down odd paladin and rogue as well. All of those decks are too strong.
You're arguing against yourself at this point.
Also by that logic Shaman would have lost grumble and saronite for shudderwock, maybe others, and druid lost most of it's op kit as well in the rotation. So why were they gutted now?
As I said, if a deck is shown to polarize the meta, it gets the nerf bat. You don't wait 3 months for decks that should be nerfed. Shudderwock was too much of a control killer, even against top tier ones. We were warned anyway: they didn't like how the combo worked in the first place but gave it a year. It suggests that had Brode noticed the combo a week prior to when he did it wouldn't have existed in the first place.
Druid was always a #()%#$) up of a problem, and it's problem was it's Classic ramp. All of druid's decks were "25 cards + a finisher". What this year proved was that druid was always a few good cards away from "25 cards + finisher". Waiting till rotation puts them back into "waiting for the next way to break". It's like Grim Patron and Warsong Commander. You COULD nerf Grim or Frothing, but it still means Warsong is just sitting there waiting for the next card that lets it become broken. Thus they took care of the source of the problem. That druid, with all of those "OMG OP" cards, became worthless just shows how messed up of a class it is, and how utterly dependent it was on it's Classic set. UI, Spreading, Twig, "Cheaper sprint that tutors", all of those 'insane cards' are still there and doing the same thing.
In the end, They weren't the power cards. They were just the symptom of the power of Classic Ramp.
You can't apply 1 set of rules to certain decks and not others. Either let it play out or regularly balance the game a bit. Was druid often op and annoying, yes, so was shudderwock, but so are all of the other top tier decks. Shudder wasn't even top tier.
The state of the boomsday meta after the giggling nerf was far better and more balanced than this.
The same rules to hunter will apply. If it's shown that hunter is highly polarizing the meta and not just 'popular' then they will get the bat.
So far, all you've done is yell out "they win ... a lot" then your argument goes all over the place when shown all of the other decks that win...a lot. Even though we haven't nerfed a card for winning..a lot since Yogg. That and that your special handcrafted decks aren't special anymore which has NEVER been a reason to nerf anything.
Hunter may or may not deserve the nerf bat. But so long as THIS is your argument style we aren't going to find that out through this thread.
It doesn't change the fact that the last expansion was terrible for the most part and the last round of nerfs killed a lot of the variety of the meta.
Hunter is obviously massively over tuned as are some of the aggro decks despite the nerfs. So we have our polarised meta of aggro, heavy control and otk combo of which there are only a handful of good decks for each type.
Technically the nerfs made the wild meta more diverse. Kingsbane Rogue had a deathgrip on the format, not druid, so we seemed to have benefited more than say those in standard.

I could argue that there really isn't much of a way of saving standard without utterly gutting an entire year's worth of cards. Even if hunter is gutted, the massive dude spawning/buffing and the crazy 1 drops are around. If we nuke that, it will probably be Jaina's neverending water elementals or the insanity of demons that overwhelm. Or we nuke it ALL enough so that druid doesn't flat out die before they can ramp and woop, ramp druid comes back with it's insanity.
i personally feel that the nerfs were less to balance things but to make sure we don't all mutiny before rotation hits. I was afraid they were going to overpower the rumble set, but the were smart enough to avoid that and opted for a nerf bat instead. It's a prudent bandaid.
I'm sure if we rage enough hunter will get hit. And if he does we'll keep complaining. But te goal is to survive till spring and if it requires that then we'll do what we must. They might drag it out a bit so that by the time we get to raging about the NExT problems we'll be in release season. If it's not clear I feel neutral about nerfing hunter. It won't make things 'better' but won't kill things either.
So long as the spring expansion doesn't go nuts on the power level, we'll have something very interesting.
So after years you still couldn't break the rank 15 ?
I don't think your deck is the problem here.
Don't you have a pure gold set and multi-legend finishes? Please don't judge all by those standards. This post is beneath the reasoned and articulate posts of yours I've come to enjoy.
Yeah that was kind of bad. Some people who play HS are casual players. They don't grind for hours every day. Just play one or twice per week.

Am I suppose to spread lies ? If you've been playing the game for years and still have a hard time getting to rank 15, there is a serious problem with the player, not the deck.
Why you ask me ? Because rank 15 is not good, I don't want to insult anyone, I'm just stating a fact, as harsh as it may be. Rank 5 should be achievable by anyone who's been playing for a decent amount of time.
For those players, I suggest you watch streamers and learn from them, that's the best way to improve.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
