mmm.. I don't know about the last one mostly because it has no concrete rules. I mean, what I think is a bad card you might consider and pretty good one, and so on.. in order for a gamemode to function it has to have rules which apply for both players.
I would like to see game modes with caps, ie basic card decks only can queue up for a search, like brackets i guess, basic, rare, epic and our normal search engine everything under the sun, me and my roommate had a battle, it was really fun throwback(post gvg) we created a basic card only deck, so much fun, i would love to queue up games like that, and would it not help with new players, or for ppl with anxiety of seeing Dr.Boom lol
this is mechwarper out of control--(i'm a mage vs druid)--- turn one coin mechwarper+clockwork gnome+clockwork gnome, turn two another mechwarper+spider tank+snowchugger, so it felt safe to unload this dream start cus whats a druid to do against it? nothing it was turn 3 and the best the druid could do is wrath one mechwarper, by turn 5 he was dead.

Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Hey guys, I've been playing hearthstone for couple months now, and sometimes I find the game a little boring. Arena is a fun twist to the usual, but even that can feel pretty repetitive. I guess that's why adventure modes were implemented, and I was wondering if there were plans to update new game modes.
What kind of game modes would possibly be implemented, or will there even be a new game mode? I heard that they aren't seeing co-op mode implemented any time soon...
I'd like to have a casual/unranked mode where you can dual someone on your friends list in an arena match. You'd draft an arena deck like normal and your friend would too, then you play'd against each other.
I am not saying they should or they shouldn't, but exactly what do people mean by 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 mode. How would that work. If you want to you can already play a lame version of co-op mode where a friend who is spectating can tell you what to play on alternating rounds.
Don't want 2v2, and not even sure how that could work with the current layout. I want tournaments, more ways to encourage making use of our comprehensive card collection (game mode for random decks, or quests that require using certain cards, etc.), and some sort of customizable mode for casual (allow games with no legendaries, games with different health settings, etc.).
Like some of you already said, a tournament mode is what I'd love to see. It could be Just one more way to have fun and gain gold. It would pit 6 to 8 players in a mini tournament, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place would get prizes like in arena, and you could invite your friends over. That sounds awesome!

In four player rulesets for TCGs, the game works the same except that instead of a single opponent, you either have three opponents (free-for-all), or you have two opponents and a teammate (two-on-two). The turn sequence flows clockwise, and in 2v2 your teammate will be seated across from you so that the turns alternate from team to team, player to player. The win condition is, as always to defeat (all of) your opponent(s).
It obviously increases the strategy and mindgames exponentially. In two-on-two you have to work together with your teammate to defeat the other two players, and in free-for-all you might team up with another player only to betray them, or get ganged up on by three.
So, for example, you could have a handlock and a face hunter on a team, both focusing their efforts on a control warrior who is being supported by a mech mage.
They could also work it differently, maybe have both heroes on a team share a health pool and board, and see each other's hands.
In either case, it would have its own meta, and would probably get really complicated.

let's say you can only choose cards with negative value (card value calculation: http://www.liquidhearth.com/forum/hearthstone/456754-creature-valuation-how-blizzard-assigns-costs-to-cards), but that's just too much effort for a quick game

Got'cha.
I love the idea of having configurable options for Casual mode.
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429
My favourite is the play-the-game-as-it-is mode. You choose a deck with no restrictions and your friend do the same, then you play against each other.

I was one of the first ones who invented that game mode.

I wish the adventure bosses were playable. It would be fun to use their powers and cards.

Highlander Hearthstone 45 Card Decks 1 copy of cards and cost limit of 100
Costs would be Common 1, Rare 2, Epic 3 & Legendary 4
Hardcore mode with at least 40 hp (no health cap) & 40 cards because I'm sick of these aggro huntards and mages.

I hope we get a Unstable Portal mirror game mode.
Also Webspinner mirror matches!
They won`t make Hearthstone filled with tones of new modes. What I hope to see and pretty sure to see is an ingame tournament mode. Thats it.
Both of these sound like an amazing time.
Hearthstone...I play that.
Music...I make that.
Youtube...I have that.

Archenemy mode could be cool.
