@wailor Its a paladin weapon (yeah colors are nearly the same :/ I'm seeking for a best art but i want it to be a paladin weapon. But i'm not totaly convinced about that card :/
Yeah the effect punish people who play a lot of draw like druid :o) I think its gonna be a 3 or 2/7. But i want him to have a lot of HP (maybe 6 is enough).
For your cards, it's alive is wayyyyy too expensive. 10 mana spell in hunter thats hard to play + your hand will be empty at this time + thats basicly a 10 mana do nothing since you could have played thoses minions alone. At the same time beeing cheaper could make it too OP. Hard to balance but IMO 7 manas should be better. (+ the fact that one removal instead of two to destroy it). Honestly i dont like this card :c
Nuclear fission i like the effect and the flavor ! It push deckbuilding. I love it !
The third is too complicated for hearthstone (the effect is cool & good, but i dont think this is appropriate for hearthstone).
Don't mind me, just spicing up the discussion topic with a meme:
Also, CheeseEtc, I love your idea. Would be fun to have in the game, quick sacrifice for emergency damage. Would be good for clearing Taunts so your minions can attack without wasting, but there's a sense of luck to it all (just makes it better IMO)
@Cheese - I like the flavour of Blastcannon - it's like a cross between Soulfire and Flark's Boom-Zooka. Feels pretty balanced too.
Here's my idea - grateful for any comments, especially balance-wise. While it can max out at 27 damage to the enemy's face, that requires your opponent to have an empty board on turn 9 and you to survive till turn 10 while not using most of your cards.
Old idea of mine. Not sure if it's a tad too weak having to spend Coins in order to get the copies. Note that it's a wild card, so coins should be available.
I know its a very small mistake, but your grammar seems wrong. Either make it "Discard all of your Coins," or just take out the "all".
Thanks man! Not a native speaker - what do you think will work better? It looks better on the card with simply "Discard your Coins.", but sounds better with "Discard all of your Coins.".

Although it's very awkward grammar on Team 5's part, "Spend all your Coins" would actually be consistent with Reckless Flurry and all of the Forbidden cards. I think "Discard all Coins in your hand" would work pretty well. Here's one of my 2 cards for reference (I submitted the other one). It appears both of us had the same idea of using coins for flavor as payment.

I'm not a native speaker either, but I'm pretty sure "Discard all your Coins" is correct.
What I don't like about the card is the name, seems bland. I'd call it "Ogre Mercenary" or something like that.
Native English speaker here: "Discard all your Coins" is vaguely acceptable, but it's still very awkward. However it's what Team 5 uses, so you could argue it's good for consistency (although consistency in HS is a laughing stock).

Cheers guys. If the wording "can" be used, and is actually consistent with team-5 wording, then I think I'll keep it. It just looks better on the card. As for the name, I've changed it to "Dunemaul Mercenary". Dunemaul is a compound of ogres located in Tanaris, same region Gadgetzan is located. I used to play on Dunemaul EU server in WoW, so it also brings back a few memories ;)
One thing that I don’t understand about these contests...HearthPwn forums are filled with players constantly complaining about OP/broken cards, and bash Blizzard and Team 5. However, these contests are usually filled with broken cards.

Lots of good reasons for that.
Balancing without playtesting is very difficult, because it's hard to anticipate every card interaction and every deck interaction. Blizzard playtests their cards while creating them, fans don't. So we have an excuse for fucking up balance. They... have less of an excuse.
Another reason is that they have an entire team full of people iterating on every single card, while many of the cards brought up here never even get a single reply's worth of feedback. It's a lot easier for one person to overlook something than for a dozen people to overlook something.
Another reason is that you don't see all the posts where people admit "I thought this card would be balanced but it turned out to be wildly OP, boy am I dumb," because people tend to not admit that. They have that realization alone, quietly. It creates the appearance that everyone always knew how OP every card would be, when in fact many of those people (like Blizzard) had to see it played over many games to believe it.

A good reply, well-reasoned on all counts :)
Even the most "seasoned" custom card creators are still, ultimately, arm-chair generals in comparison to the production staff of a video/card game company.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
I've created my first card. I mean... ever. What are your opinions about it? The idea behind the card is to counter combos, but also give you some synergy with your deck. Is it too unbalanced? How should I fix it?
@Turkeybag: I really like the idea of this card, in that it helps enable Mecha'thun's effect by discarding a card (or two if you've played two Mechoners). I think it'd be best to clarify that the Discard effect activates before Mecha'thun's effect when you submit it though. Other than that, can't say I have any issues or improvements I can offer.
I really like this one. The pun is extremely idiotic, but made me laugh a little bit.
Just one thing... I think Mecha'thun's regular Deathrattle would trigger BEFORE enchantment Deathrattles, nullifying its utility. So, I'd change the text to 'Battlecry: Give your Mecha'thun "Battlecry: Discard a random card." (wherever it is).'
Thanks for the feedback :D Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been super busy lately. I decided to submit this:
A battlecry would be cleaner but I don't want to prevent combos using stuff like The Boomship. Plus you'd likely discard your combo pieces. I think this way explains it well and should be clearer than the last one.

That immune means your opponent can't destroy this weapon and also it doesn't lose durability after you attack.
Should i decrease the draw like half amount of discards ? It longers the text but I feel like i need to cut the draw amount because of balance issues. So please give your suggestions. :)
Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
What is the best combination of names, rarities, art, and stats? Other suggestions are also welcome.
Going with the real LoL name may confuse players who doesn't know him which will not paint the picture of a card-throwing guy, but going with the epic rarity name on the other hand may miss an oppurtunity for that reference for other players that do know.
I know I post this very late, there is like, 3 hours left from now.

Love the tribes.
Just had this idea
As a reminder, my two previous ideas:
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)

The Submission thread is so dead, it's almost serving as commentary on how much people dislike the discard mechanic.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
I think it's because of the new expansion announcement.
