Your card must produce, interact with, or in some way reference two or more different existing minion types (Beast, Mech, Murloc, Pirate, Totem, Demon, Dragon) by name.
As always, you may not delete any posts you make in this Submission Topic. Message one of the Fan Creation moderators if you've posted here in error or otherwise would like your post removed.
Remember that, although HearthCards is awesome, you must host your card somewhere other than Hearthcards, such asImgur or Photobucket.
General Competition Rules
These are the rules that remain consistent from competition to competition.
First, these are the rules about Posting:
You are allowed to submit only one entry. An entry normally consists of only one collectible card, plus any necessary additional material or commentary (explained below).
You are allowed to post in this Submission Topic only once, only to submit your one entry.
You may not delete ANY posts you make in this Submission Topic, not even accidental ones you may make over your one allowed, such as by double-posting or by accidentally posting something here that you meant for the Discussion Topic. If you do accidentally post more than once, inform any of the Fan Creation Forum moderators via PM, and we will handle it.
Speaking of the Discussion Topic, that is where any discussion of this competition should go. This thread is for submissions only. If you want to discuss your card or ask questions about the competition rules or process, you can find a link to the Discussion Topic at the top of this thread. Plenty of folks there will be happy to help you out.
Once you have submitted your one entry, you are allowed to make only minor changes to it. Minor changes are things like correcting typos or making balance changes that do not alter the spirit of your entry as determined by we the moderators. If you want to make any changes and have any doubts as to their legality, ask us first.
These are the rules about your Submission:
Accompanying the image of your card, you may offer some minimal additional commentary to explain its design, balance, and/or other qualities. Flavor text is also welcome.
You may not submit any Gold cards or animated cards. (It's just a cheap attention grab tactic that makes it unnecessarily difficult to determine what class your card is for.)
Your entry must be a card of your own creation. We've been doing this for a while, so if you blatantly rip off somebody else's idea, we will know.
Remember that, although HearthCards is awesome, you MUST host your card somewhere other than Hearthcards. Save it and upload it toImgur, Photobucket, or some other similar site. HearthCards has a limited server space and will purge cards after a few days, and nobody wants your card disappearing part-way through the finals. We understand that there are some HearthCards memberships that will allow you to save your card there for longer (and you should totally get one of those just for general fan creation purposes, by the way), but we don't know who has those memberships and we can't tell from the URLs.
Fun and even humorous entries are perfectly allowed, but "troll" entries will be disqualified. If you're worried that your card may be misinterpreted as a troll card, contact a moderator before you submit.
TIP: Though not a rule exactly, we highly recommend that you insert your images using this icon on the bar above the post text editor: . Just click that button and put in the URL of your image. Cards that are uploaded and attached to your post are not disallowed, but in our experience they will not do nearly as well, so this is for your own benefit more than anything.
Finally, know that manipulating votes in any way is strictly forbidden. Any violators will receive an official warning, and will be banned from this and all future HearthPwn Card Design Competitions.
Competition Process
Entry and Early Voting Phase (Starts Now! Ends 17:00 UTC 7/November/2016) During this Phase, the Submission Topic is made available for your submissions. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Starts 17:00 UTC 7/November/2016, Ends 17:00 UTC 8/November/2016) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Starts 18:00 UTC 8/November/2016, Ends 18:00 UTC 9/November/2016) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and poll to decide the winner of the competition!
How do we determine the qualifying finalists? First, we'll pull up-vote data from each submission using the formula detailed below:
(ab) / (c) = x
Where, a = The total number of submissions on the same page as the submission. b = The total number of up-votes that the submission received. c = The total number of up-votes on the same page as the submission. x = The submission's final score.
The formula basically measures which cards stood out the most, with the necessary assumption that each page is about equal in overall submission quality. It will be the entries that receive the highest final scores that move on to the Final Phase.
The bottom line is that, although entries on the earlier pages of the Submission Topic are much more visible and thus receive many more up-votes than entries on later pages, you don't actually have to rush to get your entry in as soon as possible because the up-votes end up being weighted by what page your entry ends up on in order to determine its final score.
But wait, there's more! During each Weekly Card Design Competition, each Fan Creation Forum moderators will be given a Wild Card, which they can use to advance any one entry that they feel was initially overlooked or under-appreciated to the Final Phase, regardless of its final score. Wild Cards are our way of spicing things up a bit, but please don't ask to be given one or be upset if you aren't given one. These are just supposed to be fun. (Also, it should go without saying that, while we moderators are allowed to participate in the competitions, we are not allowed to benefit from Wild Cards.)
Rewards
Bragging rights are always awesome, but as usual, we do offer a couple of HearthPwn site rewards to competition winners: Their card forever immortalized in our Winners' Gallery! They will be allowed to select the next card design competition theme. And a unique Avatar Border & "Card Design Champion" Title, as depicted below!
The first ever neutral Totem is here, and a legendary to boot!
It needed to be a totem since all other types are available to other classes, with Demons only having two neutrals (Minion types being: Mech, Dragon, Totem, Murloc, Pirate and Demon).
10 mana and managing to get 5 other specific minions on the board as a restriction seems like a fair price for an alternate win condition. Not to mention Thaurissan is rotating out, so its combo potential should be way less threatening in standard.
Cookie's dual tribe nature is a bit awkward if you make a minion, so I chose to make his weapon instead, and gave him control of a Bluegill Warrior and a Southsea Deckhand, cards of both tribes that are functionally identical to signify his dual nature.
Gameplay wise, this card is CRAZY versatile. It can threaten face; it can take out one big thing; it can be AoE. It can be a Fireball; it can be a Consecration; it can be a pre-nerf Force of Nature. Of the rogue's existing cards, it's basically a more powerful Perdition's Blade. It fills that same AoE plus board presence role that Dark Iron Skulker fills, only in exchange for being a little weaker when used as AoE, it can be used offensively. It is, after the Blade Flurry nerf, exactly what Rogue AoE should look like imo.
Flavor Text: They only follow it because it shines.
I really would like to make the "murloc, beast and dragon" archetype a thing. So this is a card to further improve it! It works like a Twilight Guardian but it gets better as its conditions are getting met. So in the worst scenario it's a turn 1 Scaled Nightmare and best case (albeit a situational one) a 6 mana, 3/9 Taunt/Divine Shield!
Also, I would like to thank @RedneckBudha for the name input (changed from Arcane Warchief to Arcane Defender)
This minion would allow you to transform your totems into random murlocs which allows you to make use out of your hero power in a murloc heavy deck , or also transform a non-basic totem into a random murloc like Totem Golem , manatide totem now you might say why would i transform a totem golem into a murloc since totem golem is better than most of the murlocs, you can use this to gain lethal by buffing a murloc tidecaller adding +2 attack to it or maybe getting a Murloc Warleader , Bluegill Warrior , Grimscale Oracle not only to gain lethal but to do favorable trades also, i made this card since murloc shaman needs a little push to be a good deck which already has some synergies with totems , hope you like it !
Okay, entry for this week. The theme is simple, this guy destroys a robot and uses its parts to upgrade your "ship". Can either be used offensively or defensively, because I hope that with the next expansion Pirates won't be reduced to aggro.
Also, it should work like Faceless Summoner + Addled Grizzly, which means that the Ship's Cannon immediately deals 2 damage to a random enemy. Also goes to Druid because every class should get some pirates next expansion.
Flavor text: For safety, do not let him salvage parts from Boom Bots.
EDIT: Also, the battlecry works like Hungry Crab. If you don't destroy a mech, you don't get any benefits.
EDIT 2: Photobucket's address stopped working, changed to imgur. Its still the same card.
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I tryed to combine the the main mechanics of the 2 Archtypes:
Powerful Battlecrys while holding a dragon (Dragons)
Drawback effects for strong minions (Demons)
Since Handlock is no longer a viable deck, i really liked the Dragonlock as similar deck and i feel like it deserves a boost. It´s a stong board control card, but it´s weak on a empty board and vs many small minions, so i think its balanced.
Cant be played the turn after curator on curve, unless you have coin/innervate. However, this could still be a powerful addition to any druid Menagerie deck. Maybe even encourage more experimentation!
Best when combo'd with Bestial Wrath or Stablemaster. I decided to give it vanilla stats for the simple fact that not being able to SMORC as hunter is a hefty sacrifice on it's own :P
A simple Card concept I had a while back. The idea is your can now combine Pirates into a Menagerie deck, as they can be drawn via The Curator. It also enables murlocs to be played in Pirates decks, as it synergies with Bloodsail Cultist and other that may be printed with that synergy.
It also brings about Dual classes without the complication of re-printing cards. As the text states, it only applies when it is on the battlefield but the effect affects minions in your hand and deck too, allowing for future mechanics.
I balanced it against Alexstrasza's Champion, which is broken as fuck, but I think this one's weaker overall and every small change I tried to make would render it too weak, so I'd rather keep a bit too strong.
This is the Submission Topic. The Discussion Topic is here.

My thoughts behind this was... err. You can put it into... or you could use it as... I actually have no idea. Better if you just keep scrolling down.
As always good luck everyone!
Hi! Let's be friends?! Hello... where did everyone go? I made funnel cakes.
Check out my submission for this weeks card design competition; or my other fan creations! Nullius in verba
Instead of explaining this card in words, I'll show you what would happen visually:
IF YOU CHOOSE OPTION 1:
IF YOU CHOOSE OPTION 2:

Note: If you have two of them on the field, your demons gain +2/+2, since the effect of both Hellhounds are active at once.
There are a lot of remedies we don't yet know a disease for.
