My idea so far. Using phycic fruit to get c'thun before your banshee turn. Also use biology project & gloop to use a huge mana swing turn that you could possibly burn the rest of your deck and empty your hand . Well that's the plan anyway...
How about the 4 mana draw a 10 cost minion card? That way you high odds of getting your win condition quickly and then you can mill your deck away.
I'm not keen on the 2 UIs in this deck either. It fills your hand where you actually want less cards in your hand and deck.. Anything that summons from you deck may be good...
I'm currently trying miracle rouge. Testing out Strider, Minstral and the secrets. I'm running a slower version with Giants, deadly posion and Evasion.
It's not great but it's doing what miracle rouge does.
I'm gonna test leeroy, cold blood package. I think evasion is a good addition to the deck (1-off), as (if played correctly) can give you an extra turn to get your win condition. Also does great against Quest/OTK mage.
Corpsetaker doesn't have Lifesteal before it is played,it gains it on battlecry. So as it doesn't have it while in your hand, the interaction doesn't and shouldn't work.
I wonder how this orders the casting. With cards like Dark conviction and Dinosize there could be some issues/opportunities.
Just imagine Dark Conviction and blessing of kings have been played in order (on your minions). If this obeys the order you get a 7/7. If not you get a 3/3.
It's sad that warrior has declined in use, especially control variants.
A few days a go I was playing a Dead Mans hand cycle Cthun list on ladder. Was really fun but the winrate was pretty poor. Shame really, I do miss good ol' control warrior.
I had the urge to try something to help you. Take a look at this and let me know what you think. It's more tempo than control but I've won 4 from 4 at rank 21-19. 😀. Such skill.
Malygos hunter ain't bad in Wild; I've moved away from it for a bit, going for straight control, but great fun - though, unsurprisingly geist is kind of nasty here. Never liked MalySham with ancestor's call etc., and Malydruid has the lack of burn as a problem, though it can work. Mage is an obvious, tech into a regular freeze shell in Wild (i.e. not an infinite damage combo shell), in place of the pyro, for a control-heavy meta. Dragonlock was a thing at one point with Maly into soulfires/darkbombs as finisher after dragons had chipped away slightly.
Do you think that the Unstable Ghoul + Toxic Arrow combo has a place in the Maly Hunter deck? In my N'Zoth Control Hunter deck it seems quite good, as only Silence can stop it. Has a little anti-synergy with N'Zoth, but it's not too bad.
That actually a good call. I think any full clear (even if its a 2 card combo) has a place in a control/combo deck. Some of these decks look awesome, cannot wait to try them.
I'm currently 9-3 with this deck. I guess is just Freeze Mage but Malygos adds the surprise burst factor, Just beat a jade Druid who (at one point) had 58 Health.

I want to add my own take to the Nerf, which may/may not happen.
Sunkeeper Tarim - 6 Mana 3/7 Battlecry: Set all other minions' Attack and Health to 2. (Inspired by Firebat)
This makes it a more defensive card rather than offensive. Also can be combed with Consecration for a clear.
Call to Arms - 4 Mana - Recruit 2 minions that cost (2) or less.
2 * 2 = 4. As its also pseudo card draw i think this is a fair nerf.
Dark Pact - 1 Mana - Destroy a friendly Demon. Restore 8 Health to your hero.
Honestly i think the mana cost a heal amount should be adjusted too but that would make it an entirely different card.

This could work though some of the Deathrattle choices are quite odd.
You 100% need the 3 mana 2/2 get a coin and as much draw as possible as you lose card advantage from the quest.
Hoarding dragon is a must remove. Can give you opponent too much tempo.
May be cut down on the deathrattles a little and add better value/tempo cards. Velen is a certainty if you have him .

I've been trying a tempo variant of big spell mage recently, inspired by firebat, it uses both Aluneth and big spells.

I beat him with a Reno, Rin warlock. I had double health and managed to fatigue him.

This is a great combo card, if you can keep it around.
Imagine Turn 9 Malygos - Deathrattle Twig + Swipe X 2 & Moonfire X 2. 30 Damage. Takes good timing but I can see it being used for combo decks.
