I'm pretty sure Control warrior would be a new cancer. All Dark Knights go off but warrior`s one
this forum never stop surprising me, now dr boom is a "dark" knight!! LOL
omg what is wrong with your empty head? Ofcause it is not a DK but it has similar op effect (it can discover infinite mechs it can heal, it can damage. And as soon as all real DKs go off you just have a warrior and shaman op hero cards
Having a yeti sit on ur hand for 10 turns is kinda bad specially vs aggro it will mostly be that a yeti since that 10 dmg is irrevelevent and u gonna want to tempo it out on 4. Great topdeck beyond turn 9. Not having the crowd roaster requirement is great cause u would need yo built dragons around it. Great to pull this off from dr boom hp and from omega assembly. It might he a card to see play as a one of tbh as u have some good odds of pulling it from those random abilities

U don't get it too lol. You may not place it to your deckBut at the same time u can play it 4-10 times if u want)
What I really like about this card is that it is a really strong card that does require thinking.
We don't know yet if many games get to turn 10, which I think is the main factor in if this will see play or not. If they do, this will see play (I will certainly play it). But what I like is that playing this on turn four will often be the correct play, counter intuitive as it may seem. These kind of decisions is what makes this game fun.

Agree! Like omega medic, a game in no use just tempo play and still good statline
My problam is, in this meta no body got time for Control strategy.... You have to play your big guns at turn 5 - 6... :/ Turn 10 is so far, enemy will tare you apart until you have mana to play it.

Did you notice the "" around "dark"? The post is not about the differentiation between Deathknights and Hero Cards (btw: Hagatha would disagree that Dr. Boom is the last one left in standard), but about the poster writing "dark" instead of "death". And while the heroes are pretty close to the death knights in terms of how they play, they are NOT batman! :P

Thing is: We have no idea yet how the new meta will be. Most of the overy powerfull cards being played right now will rotate out, so the new meta mights very well work for control once again. And Warrior was always a strong contender for control-heavy metas.
Even if stuff like Myra's Unstable Element into Chef Nomi is meta defining: Brawl is one of the better counters to that, so warrior might profit from that being strong.
This guy reminds me of many other powerful cards that don't see play not because of their power level but because of the meta (like Elise the Trailblazer) after K&C, for example. And that is simply because of it's powerful late game effect. If a meta is very fast and won't get to turn 10 reliably, you don't want a Yeti with a Mech tag most of the time. Or maybe you do because it's a good T4 play for Zilliax to magnetize. But Replicating Menace (another decent card that doesn't see play, btw) is also good on that slot and more versatile in midrange mech decks for it's stickiness.
However, in a vacuum, this card does look insane.
Elise does not see play because, well a pack doesnt matter much agianst infinite value of Rexxar Jaina Guldan or OTK decks, and doesnt do anything vs aggro early game. Midrange decks also almost doesnt exist so midrange minions became unpopular.
But after rotation most of infinite value stuff gone, most of otk decks gone, the devs clearly state that they want player to manage limited resources like the good old days.. then this kind of card will shine.
Regarding Elise, that's exactly what I was trying to say. In JUG, where the meta was value oriented but without infinite value generators, Elise was used in a lot of decks, from Spell Priest, Discover Mage, even Quest Warriors sometimes ran it as an extra win condition. But when KFT came out and especially K&C came out, simple value phased out in favor of infinite value or combos that won the game outright (OTK or non OTK, like Cubelock). KInda why elementals didn't see much play aside from pocket metas (or when everything else was nerfed).
Regarding the rotation, like I said, this card will still be a meta dependant card: if Face Hunter (for example) dominates the meta, it will be hard for games to reach turn 10 and if they get there, it won't be because of Omega Devastator. Or maybe if Kalecgos and other 4/12 guys are everywhere, dealing 10 damage might just not be enough. Now, I'm not saying this card sucks because of it, but this is the kind of card that supports archetypes, but doesn't make them. So, this is almost like a 'meta slave' kind of card (I still voted very good, so I'm hopeful the meta is good for it).
i could swear the first time i saw the card it was like "deal 10 damage" and not "deal 10 damage to a minion". Makes me kinda sad but otherwise it would be way to op lol.
I went and made a theorycraft of Mech Warrior using the outline of something close to what I'm using now, which loses against the deck types that are rotating out. Just pretend the Omega Defenders are the new Devastator.
With Baku, reckless flurry, the quest and moremore , Control Warrior might have a tough time. Will they be strong enough to run even more cards that have to be held to the endgame? It's already kind of painful to hold onto Omega Assembly for that long. Great card, would definitely have seen play in Year if the Raven, but I'm not sold quite yet.
Great card, you can jsut play it for tempo with decent stats and a mech tag as a bonus if the matchup requires it. If you play against control or slower midrange (or draw it late) you can save it for the effect and it is perhaps the best 4-cost card in that spot. Control Warrior / control decks in general now really need combo disruptors of dirty-rat quality to be great.
Dr Boom will LOVE this. Is Mech Warrior a thing now? Sounds like a lot of fun and late board control.
I mean, the ''Deal 5 damage'' one is played accros the board for early game. This one swings the board one shot and will also be in the pool of discoveries as well.

This sure is fun.
I posted a mech warrior on the previous page. A lot of people speculate that Rush, Mech, Dragon, Mech-Dragon warriors will be overrunning the new meta.

It actually can if Dr.Boom has been played.

And omega medic is still decent, omega agent is okay
As a fan of mech warrior, this card is a dream come true. Not only are the stats solid, but a free removal is icing on the cake.

Excellent pick in Arena. That's good enough for me.
Not sure if hyped yet.

Ranked game wins per class (26/Dec/2018): Druid - 457; Hunter - 482; Mage - 345; Paladin - 435; Priest - 295; Rogue - 234; Shaman - 430; Warlock - 419; Warrior - 367
I really should update my signature more often...
