It's the token from Direhorn Hatchling in card form. With a condition that goes from very dificult to laughable easy depending on how you build your deck.
Only 1 health off of Ancient of War for costing 1 less is huge. Although it not being able to attack is rather annoying. Though I still think that Bonemare will be popular and this doesn't do a very good job at contesting the board at all and likely dies to a Bonemared minion. Has potential though.
Hungry Ettin is crying, this is soo much better, 5/9 is much better than a 4/10 imo, besides in control i dont care if this doesnt attack i just care about my health. Warrior however has not gotton enough good cards and propably wont see to much play.
So Warrior got their own version of Ironbark Golem. Cracks aside, this thing actually has good potential in Control Warrior for its overstated body and ability to consistently attack the opponent in most cases. I mean, if you don't have 5 armor or more while playing Control Warrior, you're doing it wrong. And a 5/9 taunt body for 6 will sure irritate a wide range of opponents trying to deal with it.
This is a very strong card and will see play in control warrior, since it's not hard at all getting only 5 armor, and even if you don't have 5 armor the 5 attack and 9 body is amazing with taunt, HOWEVER, control warrior might just be garbage this expansion, I do expect control warrior to be very strong in the future though
Fantastic card. My guess is that it'll wind up in a more midrangey deck than control/quest.
It seems slightly too expensive for Quest as it slow-rolls which is risky as the whole point of quest warrior is to finish the quest. Primordial Drake and Curator are already expensive and the deck doesn't have room for many other expensive cards.
I bet it'll see play as a 1-of in Control, as a "use your removal on me"-type card. Control wants a ton of armor and removal and it probably can't manage to fit in two more big cards that don't provide either.
That's one big, overstatted taunt. Classic Control Warrior with a ton of armor gain could definitely use this, though it's on the same cost as their other new armor gain card that is clearly also made for that deck.
Good for Quest Warriors; as a 5/9 wall is not bad if you're arent able to get the requirement armor needed.
I'd play Hungry Ettin over this any day. You have weapons to deal with the battlecry, slight synergy with brawl, better stats, CAN attack...
You'd play Hungry Ettin over 1/1 stat when Hungry Ettin has a better chance of summoning more than 1/1?
And both can attack.
If I play hungry ettin, I play a 5 mana card to deal with its token, namely fool's bane.
And no, this cannot attack unless you have 5 armor, which means it can only attack if you're winning on the board already. Which you are not on turn 6 as quest warrior, obviously.
Ettin is playable in quest warrior. This isn't. Trust me.
And you can tell by community upvotes that you shouldn't be trusted. Clearly there are other factors you have to consider like ultimately having both in your deck or depending on the archetype you're playing.
Like for instance; When you're playing quest warrior; you dont have issues having to be aggressive or gaining armor. ESPECIALLY with the abundance of armor coming out this expansion; you will have little to no trouble getting armor to let it attack. And being aggressive over defensive is not your goal.
You also have an abundance of 1-cost minions like Gravelsnout KnightRighteous Protector or 1 costs that has deathrattle effects that can be a full nuisance and can only end up costing you. Ettin clearly has a much more risk factor over 1/1 stats
You also mentioning that you'd need Fool's Bane to pull this off-well is still you compromising

This doesn't have charge. It does have taunt. Therefor whether you're winning or losing on board doesn't matter. Either the Golem dies and can't attack anyway, or it survives and you'll just gain the armor the turn after playing this.
This card turn out to be nut man. Ppl barely notice it because noone realky play CW in this meta but I play the deck a lot and the moment you drop this usualy GG for aggro and midrange deck. Still fear hunter turn 6 Highmane? DONt worry anymore this card can block both the 6/5 and 2 2/2 body after. And vs control it is equally strong they usually have to hard removal it , its mean my Lichking and Yip and Grom have better chance to survive(yes I play classic wallet type CW). Ppl with hate this card if control warrior becomes more viable next rotation.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,

This one of the more mediocre minions but it might guarantee you a taunt while recruiting.

No room for this card here

Very nice stats overall and can be used in quest/recruit warrior. seems good
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Sadly another unplayable card until Jade Druid rotates out or Jade Idol is nerfed.

Don't mind me just passing by

Solid stats, not exciting but it's good.
This is pretty much the exact statline for a 6 drop to be playable these days.
Carpe Diem - Seize the day
