Deck has plenty of counterplay. Just play aggressively and burst them down. I've won 5 out of 7 games against quest rogue today with midrange elemental shaman. It's crazy in certain matchups, but unlike miracle rogue, it has counterplay. Stop whining and figure out the meta.
We've been underestimating rogues for an entire year. This class always manages to surprise us.
If by "us" you mean the people who don't seem to understand how good this was on paper, even before the elemental generating minions were revealed. 1 mana 5/5s with Charge, Violet Teachers that summon entire boards of 5/5s, you name it... anything that was cheap and did what Rogues wanted to be doing (murdering you, drawing cards, swinging boards) was made insanely good on a card they could Prep out for 2 mana.
So I don't really have sympathy. People were dumb about it and rated it as one of the lowest, and then were caught off guard when it turned out it was pretty good. Next expansion I imagine it'll probably be something along the same lines. :P
i agree with this post, anyways why does it have to be nerfed? you could jsut lower the requirements on some quests like Warrior's and Druid's and that's it, playable quests for everyone,
Can you tell me what is your wonderful version of elemental shaman/midrange hunter winning against it ?
I have no idea who the hell said Elemental Shaman because it's often too slow to keep up. At the very best that's a 50/50 matchup (probably favours the Rogue). It's MURLOC Shaman that mercilessly stomps this Rogue quest to oblivion and beyond. That and fast Midrange Hunter often put them into kill range before the Rogue can even complete the quest, because they're wasting turns bouncing stuff while the aggro deck just smorcs. The Murloc deck is Chakkis with Primalfin Lookout instead of Hot Spring Guardian: https://disguisedtoast.com/decklists/2302-chakki-s-un-goro-unite-the-murlocs-shaman-16w-1l-record The Hunter deck is still under refinement, but what I've been playing so far: 2x Alleycat, 2x Fiery Bat, 1x Hunter's Mark, 1x Raptor Hatchling, 2x Jeweled Macaw, 1x Stampede, 2x Crackling Razormaw, 2x Kindly Grandmother, 2x Animal Companion, 2x Kill Command, 2x Rat Pack, 2x Terrorscale Stalker (probably going to cut this for something, not decided on what though), 2x Unleash the Hounds, 2x Houndmaster, 2x Infested Wolf, 1x Tol'vir Warden, 2x Savannah Highmane

I think Warrior's is probably fine, and I want to say Quest Warrior is one of the decks that should fare pretty well against Rogue just because of the density of Taunt guys to stabilize and fight for the board early. Druid's... I'm not sure is ever going to be very good (it's already pretty easy to fulfill it's just clunky in my opinion). Not all quests need to be competitive though, I'd actually be pretty happy to see some classes that had competitive quests and some that had competitive non-Quest decks.
You can beat Quest Rogue without playing Aggro in its current incarnation, Aggro is just the simple way of beating it consistently. Alternatively Dog was getting wrecked by Kolento's Midrangey Elemental Paladin last night, and that is not a fast deck while being consistently problematic for how low-value the aggressive build's early game is. So I'm leaning towards this being a learn to play issue.

Tried it out cause I opened the quest. It is very hit or miss. I see why ppl don't like it but it is hard to win if you don't steamroll someone. When it is really overpowered is when you get to bounce swashburglar or engineer, creating or drawing all those extra cards.

of course you can beat it, i've been watching Savjz playing elemental Handbuff Paladin and beating Quest rogue Fairly consistently by just making the right plays
I agree. The deck is far too strong for how un-interactive it is. And this is coming from me.
Edit: Eh, I jumped the gun. Seems to be a lot less consistent than first thought. Plus, certain decks turned out to just roll it. I should've known better.
Dude...we´re 24h in the expansion. Just chill and wait how things develop. No need for forks just now.
Need I remind you of Pirate Warriors?
Need I remind you of C'Thun (anything) and Jade Druid? N'Zoth Paladin was pegged as a powerhouse at the beginning of Old Gods and Priest was considered one of the most promising lists, and then a couple weeks went by and that ended up being pretty much the complete opposite case. So yes, there is no reason for pitchforks just yet and likely won't be for a couple weeks at least.
People would rather nerf something than construct a solution themselves. Don't worry, soon the Pros and streamers will have constructed something you can copy.

This quest is so obviously busted. I literally came on this site to make sure I'm not the only one who thinks this is insane. At least pirate warrior was beatable. Can't even beat this deck with taunt warrior. Soon everyone will be playing this To even compete. Not fun. Let's get on this Blizzard.

Goddamn whiners.
Is easily beaten by zoo.
Same guys who have played Jade Druid last expansion now play Quest Rogue. And the same boring answer is play aggro?
well at least blizzard is consistent in releasing broken aggro shitcards
Nerf already.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
BUMPPP. We are all sick of the rogue quest!
Not least interactive than freeze mage though

Play handlock. Shadow flame and lots of 5 attack taunts = sad rogue
Please nerf the Rogue quest, Blizzard. I have two The Caverns Below cards, and I want to dust them
Rogue is actually fun to play again and now I'm realizing it's fun without the quest as well. I'm also having a blast with Sherazin.
