I use yogg in a sort of combo druid because it is the only way I can consistently wipe the board if they add better late game board clears yogg will go away and they could even un-nerf him before he left to wild even.
I don't think they should've ever nerfed him to begin with. They should create a ban list for tournaments that way certain cards could still be used on ladder, but not in tournaments where money is on the line.
I belive that there are many solutions, all depending on what the meta will be during the Year of the Mammoth and what Team 5 wants to do with a completly RNG driven card like Yogg:
Revert it back to pre-nerf and move it to the Hall of Fame.
Revert it back to pre-nerf but let it casts random spells from a limited pool (so they can decide what it can possibly do or not).
Revert it back to pre-nerf and ban it from official tournaments (but it will be still a potential issue for Ladder).
In any scenario I think that its actual situation is pretty bad. Only Jade Druid is using it at competitive level is just a plus to the Jade late game stomping ability, something that the deck doesn't really need but it's worth a slot just in case it's in need of a desperate board clear (and Druid is actually missing something like that).
Fine as is, and I still run Yogg in some of my Mage decks. Most of the time he only casts one or two spells before he kills himself. Also, I remember a game where he did double elemental destruction and basically wrecked my next turn.
Hearthstone esports will always have wild RNG. It shouldn't get to dictate that fun cards has to be weak.
The issue as never been RNG itself, that's a fundamental part of HS and TGC. The issue was too much RNG in a single card that can litteraly won a game that wasn't deserved in anyway.
That at high level tournament is something that simply kill the show.
No, he should not be nerfed. If people can find creative ways to use cards that Blizzard said they didn't intend to be used in tournament type decks, then they should of never created it. Why punish the people who come up with these great deck ideas.
Also, I was watching a friend play a while back, after the nerf, and his opponent played Yogg and Yogg ended up assassinated himself after one spell. So yeah, you run the risk in that happening by playing him.
This is got be one of the dumbest topics ever. Why the hell would u nerf yogg again he already he gives u over load he dies if anything happens to him.Just because some one wants yogg in his deck doesn't mean it need to be nerfed a second time one person had wow dude. That player also has to go with what he does as we all saw it failed 2x. I think u need to lay off the drugs.
Where is the option that Yogg-Saron should be unnerfed? The main issue i had with Yogg-Saron was that Shaman Spells didn't gave overload at all. With the fix, i am personally to unnerf him; maybe it would help tempo mage a bit and Pirate Warrior wouldn't be a strong as it is.
The only real problem i see is Yogg in Jade Druid...

How is yogg relevant in a pirate warrior game? Those games are over by turn 10.
I dont know what to think about this card... Just lost a game playing priest vs jade druid... Had board controll, taunt, lethal next turn and no "normal" way for him to wipe my board... Guess what... 12 spell Yogg with no single negative effect for opponent - I had 19hp vs his 3...he killed me this turn... It's little unfair result of RNG :/

All cards must be nerfed until they are all of equal strength and never do anything useful.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

The secularist nerfcriers should count their blessings rather than trying to shove more blasphemy into the faces of the true believers.
yogg was the best thing in HS.
Now he's a big pile of dust.

Huh? I haven't seen Yogg in MONTHS! And I play the game everyday...
The card has been nerfed into oblivion. It kills itself and achieves nothing most of the time nowadays if its played
Is this a necro thread or something? 4th poll option reflects current state of the game.
