The card is very similar to prenerf Pyroblast. It's a lot worse since you need a minion but its still important that this is pretty much the first independent big burst card ever for paladin (ignoring Anyfin because its not independent). That said, If some kind of midrange Paladin deck were to arise again, it would probably play at least one of these.
Incredibly bad. A conditional 10 damage as Paladin is pointless since there's no other burst cards for that class to build up Dinosize as a finisher. For trading it's terrible since nobody wants to run a 10/10 minion into mindranged-statted threats. 28% voted very good or meta-defining...just wow.
Just like how warrior ran grom with 0 burst, a conditional 2 card 10-12 damage. Wow.. just wow. Lol at the trash analysis on this site.

I don't know man OP seems just to hit the nail. It doesn't fit in any Paladin .Warrior had Alextrasa and Weapons as kind of burst to deal leathal damage+ Grom was often played as spotremoval .
Looking at our current cards the only time this will ever see play is when you Ivory Knight. (in which case it's pretty decent) Btw people, you can't compare this to Pyroblast, it deals MAX. 9 damage, can't get past Taunts and require you to either have board-control or run small Charge minions.
Combo with Echoing Ooze in a wild buff paladin deck. Isn't bad value to get 2 10/10's for 10 mana late game especially in Wild where late game is a possibility.
This is a hard counter for when your opponent plays 2 blood of the ancient ones and makes a 30/30. You can chop that down to 10/10 to make it more manageable.

Grom also has other uses as non-conditional removal, enablers like Taskmaster were good in conjunction with Armorsmith, Acolyte as well. For this card you need a cheap charge minion or something to stick on the board. Tell me how this is remotely comparable to Grom?
You can use this as a non-conditional late game threat, and a card like bluegill warrior can also be used that works in conjunction with other cards. The conditional part of this card can be worked around as always with sticky minions. Plus this card has the upside of working with divine shield and windfury, as well as giving the minion more health. You ask how it is"remotely comparable" to Grom? It's an 8 mana burst finisher that is frequently used as a 2 card combo, that is stopped by taunt and leaves a large threat if used to kill a minion. There are a plethora of minor scenarios where one is better than the other, but to say they're not "remotely comparable" is disingenuous. Anyway, I will agree with what you were trying to imply that Grom's non-conditional (4 damage on turn 8) is much better than the non-conditional for dinosize (10 mana 10/10 no charge), and that Grom has better supporting cards. But I consider Grom marginally better than dinosize, and I consider Grom (which isn't even in the meta right now) as a very good card as well. I understand that you're probably judging cards from a meta perspective, but in a general perspective, these cards are about the same power level. If there were 0 mana charge cards for paladin like warrior had in beta, or pre nerf warsong commander were a paladin card, dinosize would be a much much better meta card than grommash.
voted good, Pyroblast saw play at 8 mana and was nerfed, this card is a Pyroblast that needs a minion on board, paladin is also great at refilling boards.
Windfury minions may have weak stats, but Paladin now has the best of the Grimy Goon buffing cards (Smuggler's Run, Grimestreet Outfitter, and Grimestreet Enforcer), so maybe something is there that could make them work.

........and buff the buffed minion with a 8 mana spell( spells/ bad for buffing cards)?
TBH paladin has to get there (to turn 10) first, anyfin can happen is 10 times better finisher than this one (as finisher) putting too many stats on one card is a bad deal most of the time at least this card adds the posibility of paladin having 9 burst dmg out of nowhere and it buffs ivory knight..
it's a good card to have in the game in general since it has it's flaws.. but paladin is in dire need of GOOD cards after blizzard ditched all the best goons buffs on paladin and gave him ONLY that last expansion which FAILED Paladin need new stuff.. to actuially stay as a class.. plaadin and hunter are currently WOTOG priest level of bad
it's like potion of polimorph, the fact that the card exists forces your oponent play around it, even if it's a bad card, you can get punished very hard if you don't take it into account. It may not be a good card to put in your deck, but it definitly deserves existing

Guys guys, you're missing the real point here.

This card is probably only a buff to Ivory Knight.
I seriously doubt that this card would go in a deck ahead of Blessing of Kings, and BoK wouldn't go in a deck in this meta.
I do like the card because of Ivory Knight though.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that this card is bad, and we'll only see it from Ivory Knight.
Druid plays 6 mana 4/4 then plays 1 mana 10/10 and draws a card, use his hero power and hits the Paladin in the face, has one mana left. Ends turn.
Paladin plays 2 mana 1/1, buffs it with 8 10/10. Ends turn.
Druid wins?
