This card as of now is garbage, when pillager rotates out it will be only bad, the reason is simple, to avoid comparing to other classes (yeah innervate) lets think of what we got in rogue so far that is similar to this, that would be preparation and pillager right? prep gives you a discount of 3, one could argue that discounts are better than mana in most cases (only exception being if you got a forbidden spell) because of the 10 mana limit, but it only works with spells, so with this you can use it with minions too which can only be the case with combos like malygos and SI7 or to proc an Edwin, but it is 3 mana vs 1 mana, and being mostly directed towards miracle 3 mana is better as we don't care about minions that much, and then we got the big boy, tomb pillager, this might be its replacement when it rotates out but it will be a very bad one (like aston on two and a half men) usable but not all that great, because we are losing a powerful 5/4 body which is really important in this aggressive meta were you need to avoid trading with your face, this card right now would just be wasting slots in your deck, it would be better if attached to a body somehow, even if it would be just another pillager or something like Xaril or even a dark peddler lookalike even if it requires RNG, this needs a body or the player will most likely not survive.
When start playing the only deck I have is rogue, was my first golden hero, I know how Valeera needs that cursed coin and how you fell when you are the first to play.
But this card don't help, if you is the second you already have the coin for free, if you the first you have a card less than your opponent, lose one slot of card for a coin when you already in card disavantage make you run out of the cards very fast, if you don't draw Auctioneer you lost without any hope.
Before nerf I tryed a Yogg version with priest, the worst thing in that deck is start a game with mind vision and gain a coin from my opponents hand.
To me the card pretty much helps gadgetzan auctioneer to draw your entire deck and it gives you an extra coin so you could put out a five drop on turn 3 if you already have the coin and its a combo enabler and even gets you to get out an s17 assasin as early as turn one and already activate its combo if you started with a coin. I know people say its bad, but a rule when it comes to this forum evaluating cards is at the start of every expansion, every card is garbage unless it looks insanely overpowered. Then what ends up happening is that some cards that were dismissed as being bad end up being really good. We'll see.
Cutpurse is a TGT minion, and TGT rotates out after 2017 January, along with LoE and BRM.
Tomb Pillager is a LoE minion, and it is in the same situation as Cutpurse, so they needed to maintain that Rogue will have Coin card, which can replace the falling out Coin-generating minions.
Gadgetzan Auctioneer is unaffected by rotation because it's from the Classic set.
Come on Blizzard, Miracle is already a good deck and it has been played since forever, put some real effort into promoting another style of Rogue for once. It doesn't matter if you print an awesome power-creeped Stranglethorn Tiger when you give this to Miracle.
Miracle Rogue, or just Rogue in general, is a class that already benefits heavily from getting the coin and giving Rogue the consistency of having two more coins in their deck without having to wait for it to deathrattle off a 4 drop is insane. Getting this card plus coin in your opener is going to be a ridiculous tempo swing for a class that already relies on building tempo. That's not even counting the synergy that this will have with Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Rogue is the one class besides druid where you're not upset letting a card that gives you mana take up slot in your deck.
This card is bonkers I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a staple in Rogue. I wouldn't write it off especially since we don't even know what the rest of the expansion is yet.

They've promoted burgle rogue this whole year.
Keyword: "effort" Burgle Rogue was fun, but Blizzard obviously didn't try very hard to make it actually competitive. All long-term successful Rogue decks have been based on the Miracle concept, just with changing win conditions.
But seriously this card is somewhat bland without Gadgetzan Auctioneer, and we already have Tomb Pillager in the deck. Now we have to hope Blizzard gives Rogues some sort of board clear or we're still dead in the water. (Side note: Can also work with Combo cards like Shado-Pan Rider and Edwin VanCleef)

Everybody that play miracle rogue enough will have the hand that have 2 conceal + 2 cold blood + 2 prep in hand . Now with this card we have a chance +2 coin in hand definitely and we lose that game for sure.
This card definitely a lot worse than tom pillager 100%.
If we draw this card in in turn 1-4 it really bad and we have 60-70% to lose that match except we put all thing to build Edwin and opponent can not clear it.
If we draw this card in turn 5-8 with gadgetsan yeah it the best card.
conclusion for me is just playable in some deck and just only put 1 card in the deck.
I can't tell if this is serious.....You're going to use up 2 slots in a deck for a card that provides no real resource. Wonder how it'll feel for rogues who topdeck this late game
Can you please repeat that? I can't hear you over the sound of my auctioneer pulling half my deck in one turn.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.

Pretty sure you never played rogue

I love how folks either find this OP or terribad.
I think just coining out a Tomb Pillager is pretty decent. Let alone all the MIracle shenannigans. Will be a staple card for Rogue.
Galavant Animation
Innervate laughs at rogue.

People that are saying its a bad card have clearly never seen miracle rogue played before
Seems ok.
Rank 25 commenters never played against miracle rogue. 10/10, will be two of in every tournament rogue deck until it rotates.

I see why they put it in the shiny new expansion:
Cutpurse is a TGT minion, and TGT rotates out after 2017 January, along with LoE and BRM.
Tomb Pillager is a LoE minion, and it is in the same situation as Cutpurse, so they needed to maintain that Rogue will have Coin card, which can replace the falling out Coin-generating minions.

Everybody that plays Miracle Rogue: Holy shit! This card is awesome! Gadgetzan is kreygasming
Everybody else: What the fuck is this garbage? it doesn't do anything? its like a shitty innervate or prep. wow blizzard
Not bad, but miracle is so boring at this point.
Are you ready for a Miracle? (Rogue...)
