What I find weird is the balancing of the quests across the classes. The druid quest, the rogue quest and the shaman quest are fast to complete and they give the best quest rewards. The warlock quest is one of the slowest to complete and it gives one of the worst quest rewards. WHY?

What I find funny is that it seems like the devs were trying to push a heal druid archetype with cards like Crystal Stag, Dreamway Guardians and Crystal Power. But the playerbase was like "Yeah why play heal druid when we can just kill other players faster with tokens." Do the devs even playtest the game? 

I have to say even on day 2 in the meta warrior is absolutely nuts in standard. All control warrior use to have was to try to remove your minions and fatigue you to death, now they add bombs into your deck and make you explode. And the mechs can seriously snowball out of control against slower decks especially with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, one of the few remaining hero cards giving all mechs rush. Its still early but man warrior feels very strong at the moment.

We'll see how the meta looks in a month but I predict bomb control warrior will be one of the most strongest decks in standard. 

I think what is annoying people about Bomb warrior is that it is not so much OP, but it is the most irritating deck to lose to because the game takes forever and you just inevitably get blown up by the bombs at the end. Playing against it with a slower deck is absolutely painful.

The mechs are pretty strong against slow decks because they can snowball with magnetic so you end up eating a lot of face damage as well as worrying about the bombs. Even with Archivist Elysiana its usually not enough and Bomb warriors are also running the archivist to counter other bomb warriors.

Fast decks are very good at rushing down bomb warrior which is why when the meta stabiliizes, it may turn into a SMORCfest.

That being said Kibler's twitch chat even now is actually pretty good.

Mine is that the meta is going to be more midrange/ control. With cards like Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender, Dire Mole, Fungalmancer, Prince Keleseth and Fire Fly rotating out plus the odd and even decks and all of the frozen thrones deathknights, standard is going to feel so different.

The year of the mammoth expansions have dominated standard for so long. Now they are going away, hopefully the year of the raven expansions finally get there chance to shine.

Edit: My mistake, the card actually costs 4. If anyone saw my little rant, please ignore it.

But why is this card rare and a card which is virtually the same card except 2 mana more and 4 more health is an epic? It is a little strange.

It has better stats than the bloodmage or loot hoarder though. I would not count this card out especially if a deck comes out that relies on spell damage. Although Coldwraith did not see play and that card also has great stats for its cost so it may unfortunately not see play. But this is a neutral so it has more of a chance since it is not just limited to mage.

Ah is this a storyline card? Does this imply that the League of E.V.I.L are winning?

Its an actual playable rager. YES PEOPLE WE HAVE FINALLY GOT ONE!!!

Compare this to Gormok the Impaler. Costs 1 more but much easier requirement to activate the battlecry, and it is not a legendary.

We are only going to have 4 expansions plus the basic and classic set to make decks from so its going to be very interesting how the meta looks. The last time we had such a limited pool of expansions in standard was during journey to ungoro and that meta was probably one of the best.

 Whoops. Well I forgot and that pretty much sums up how powerful the year of the mammoth was. Because it has felt like forever that set of expansions have dominated standard. The year of the mammoth being gone from the meta will be a breath of fresh air. 

I guess I forgot about Witchwood because when that set came out, hardly any of the cards even saw play because of how powerful the previous 3 sets were.
