This card seems to keep on screwing over my Reno Jackson and I can't seem to find out why, I make sure I only have 1 of each card but it seems like this guy can give me doubles I guess? Can anyone confirm that? I've never had the possibility to draw my whole deck to check but it's the only thing that makes sense.
It cant give doubles you must be doing something wrong.
I love this card. Allows so many ridiculous plays to happen, including many situations with double copies of legendaries if you play priest with stealing effects. I've had double Velen into 20 gamage Holy Fire, Deathwing Dragonlord deathrattle playing Deathwing Dragonlord...etc

If you want a deck that deals lots of damage with Velen, there's a much more consistent version that doesn't use Malchezzar.
(Also, stealing effects let you get doubles with or without Malchezzar.)
Those trash legendaries do fine when paired with Elise/Golden Monkey.
Obviously I'm talking about casual play. If you want to be super uptight about competitive/ranked then thats your problem. I play to have fun and I think it should be obvious that I'm talking about a casual/non-competitive setting.
For reference, this is the random-themed deck I'm using: "Pray to RNGesus Reno".
Wow I can't believe people actually predicted this card to be useful.
Well, for a while people thought it was 'at the start of your turn...', rather than at the start of the game. Had that been the case, it could've been used as a transition into the lategame without clogging up your deck early on. That said, a lot of people just assume that adding legendaries to your deck is good because, y'know, legendaries... And there was a pretty sizable fatigue hype, so that probably inflated the favorable results.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.

I guess you can say that. Malchezaar has managed to fill up decks for those with limited collections (like me). He's like a smaller version of the Golden Monkey, in a way, because he gives you extra cards that COULD be useful to you (*clears throat* Mukla, Millhouse, Dark Nat). At least it's not "at the start of your turn" like a lot of people believed or else this card's really uncontrollable.
Im using this card in a wild mill deck I started toying around with today, because most of the good mill cards out there require you to mill yourself as well, like coldlight oracle. Malchezaar puts your deck at a 5 card advantage to your opponents, meaning they're guaranteed to run out of cards before you do, so if you start getting fatigued as well, it'll be offset.
This guy is very dangerous at arena. But one of the most fun cards
Thanks to this card I was able to summon Y'haarj. Rage unbound with Barnes at turn 4 and Y'haarj summoned Ragranos. I don't even own them.

RNGesus deck without Yogg? Blashemy.

Cheap decks are my specialty.

I recall fatigue warriors run it for the very same reason when it was released. Was not that popular tho
Welcome to my wild demonlock buddy :D
Absolutely love this card, it's a ton of fun surprising enemies with a sudden Cho or Onyxia turn
Yes it's totally bonkers and random, but you can use "dead" cards in your hand as an advantage (size for instance)
Question everything.
just dilutes your deck
