I've been playing a bit of Midrange Shaman on ladder recently (just around ranks 13-11, but still). In certain matchups--midrange hunter is one, freeze mage and control warrior are others--you can run into the problem of having a board too full of totems, simply because you're frequently using your hero power to deny value to their board clears, and then they in turn hold board clears until you commit a certain amount of value to the board. When I say "too full," I mean you literally can't use a Thunder Bluff Valiant because there's no room to hero power after you drop him, or even you can't drop Neptulon or Al'Akir because you have 7 minions.
Evolve is going to be pretty good in those situations, and will punish opponents who allow you to fill up on totems. (Bloodlust is arguably still the better punish, but this card becomes relevant much earlier.)
This is easily one of the strongest cards released in this entire expansion super powerful. You hit this on totems and turn them into 3 drops and fully heal and upgrade injured minions it's just insane. Looks like Shaman might finally be a strong Tier 2 behind Mage/Rogue/Paladin in Arena.
Aggro Shaman is gonna be a thing with this card Imp masters, totems, etc..upgrade them and heal injured minions = bloodlust GG
Aggro Shaman is already a thing, and it isn't especially board-centric. You want to hit some early drops to push face damage, and the dream is getting an early Whirling into some kind of ridiculous Abusive/Rockbiter combo, but even in games you win, you often have an empty board by the mid-game, and finish off with Doomhammer, Lava Burst, Crackle, and Lightning Bolt.
Maybe a new aggro archetype will develop that's more board-centric, but I think this card will find a home in Midrange.
I always liked Lady Naz'jar's ability when watching people do the wing, haven't done it personally so i have no idea how annoying it might be. The card is really cheap though, not sure how i feel about that but it cant be too bad.
A one mana get your creature bigger and healed?!?! This card is crazy! It might be good for aggro but on higher end creatures this is nuts! Absolutely bonkers!
Semi-crossposted from the Flamewreathed Faceless card discussion: one of Shaman's class features is minions that are overstatted for their base mana cost due to overload. Examples include Totem Golem, Earth Elemental, Fireguard Destroyer, and now the new Faceless.
Evolve (and Master of Evolution) synergizes very poorly with cards with like that, which is a concern. Makes it kind of surprising that Blizzard chose Shaman as the home of this new-ish "swap up" mechanic.

Onixya + This = Play doom/twisting nether or die
It all sounds good until you evolve one of your totems into a Doomsayer
Looks very good. Useful for midrange, and for a new Aggro zoo-ish Shaman. Should be fun to play.
Shaman is probably the worst class to have this and Master of Evolution because of Overload, but it's still amazing.

turn 8:
Twin Emperor Vek'lor + Evolve = 2 random 8 drop
like Ragnaros Fire and Light brothers.
the only 8 drop that I can see being bad is the new mage legendary
This is very busted, aside from healing your minions later, on wild you will pop your haunted creeper hero power evolve
