On the one Hand. i agree with most of you that 25 seems to be a bit too much. On the other hand, you can still pull combos off by damaging youself, maybe Wrathguard will become a thing to enable the Reno Jackson plays. Doubt it, but it could happen. This really really hurts handlock though, you basically need to follow them up with Lord Jaraxxus now.
Besides, if you think about it from a neutral point of view, should 0 cost 8/8s really exist? Ok if you follow that train of thought, Sea Giant needs to be upscaled to 13 or sth, but i think some of you can agree with that train of thought as well.
All in all, i think it is justified, we will see how this works out.
Because combo's like Giant > Giant > Argus > Reno made the game so pleasant :) Now people have to work for it. How shameful.
Seems a bit too brutal a nerf. The card is basically unplayable at this point. Even has handlock you can't casually let you life get to 5. Your health needs to be at 12 or less for you to even play the card at a mana discount. That's pretty crazy.
with not reliable heal in standard blizzard killed this card, forces frost giant as a replacement dunno. This is a hard hit for handlock (standard mode). Well long live the anyfin paladin and face shaman in standard, hail the king the king is dead.
I'd like to see your Anyfin Paladin without Old Murk Eye.

I used to be a control player like you, then I took a quick shot to the knee.
Still works with iceblock shenanigans, but we lost duplicate and echo in standard. Meh. Maybe handlock was incredibly powerful in internal testing for standard and that spurred this nerf.
both cost more, can you imagine this staying at the same cost and BGH at 5 mana? no way.
considering thats a ridiculous reason, its probably true, given blizzard logic, since if you wanted to nerf giant to compensate for BGH nerf then you would have nerfed the obvious one, which is mountain giant, to 13 mana, since that would actually accomplish something, as now you will have to keep coin till t4, sou can coin BGH out if opponent played mountain on 4. manacost on BGH hardly matters later in the game, when moltens hit the field.
considering what handlock lost in standard, no giant needed a nerf anyway...
I'm not a warlock player but i feel sorry for them now. This card was not that op imo. Unnecessary nerf.
I think my handlock died
I am surprised only one giant is getting a nerf. Glad they didn't touch sea and mountain giant. This mana cost nerf is a bit too much.
It wasn't just Handlock, so I don't know why everyone's heaping all the pity upon them.
This card was starting to be abused by a number of different classes, and it was getting annoying.

Thx Blizzard for another overdone nerf. FeelsBadMan
Not a major hit to Handlock, but I'll feel it at first. That is, assuming Handlock will be a thing in Standard (it probably will be).
good SCREW YOU HANDLOCK
I used to be a control player like you, then I took a quick shot to the knee.

Does this make Frost Giant playable now in handlock?
If you are going second as handlock
at least won't have to see 2x Molten Giant into a taunt when the warlock is on 10 or so life.
What the fuck have they done.
I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
Too much...
Holy Wrath hype, 25 to face, mm))
i don't understand why they nerf this card, is so easy to play around it. cause this cho'gall is more useless
Fuck you blizzard
After all the big aggro nerfs control needed some too.
Holy Wrath OP
