First time I read it I thought it said Discover a 3 cost minion. This is way more broken. I don't understand why they gave this to mage either. As a common too. Well, Arena will continue to be a 3 class format. They clearly have their favourite classes.
I think it is slightly underwhelming for being a class minion. Piloted Sky Golem was a neutral 6/4 summon a 4-cost minion as a deathrattle and seldom saw play. This has slightly better stat distribution but only summons a 3-cost as a battlecry.
The thing to consider is that when it comes to minions of 6-cost and above, value becomes less important and you are looking for a powerful effect (e.g. Sylvanas, Emperor Thaurissan, Justicar Truehart, etc). This is because you don't have that many 6-mana slots. So it is hard to see why someone would run this over, say, ET.
I don't get how Blizzard gives the rary on their cards, this is completly broken, tooooooo many bad and unplayable epics in this set and this is don't even a rare?? wtf???
Much Better than the servant of Ýogg-Saron, even though i still dislike the RnG. On average you can expect 8/8 total stats for 6 mana what is insane value. I suppose the board is a Little less sticky as it was with Shredder. Even though there are a lot of good Cards for 6 mana i think this one will see Play.
It is a common as well so mage will be even more dominant in Arena i guess.
Seriously, what a joke. I guess they had to put something broken in the set to sell it. So let's analyze this card: 1) Unimaginative design 2) RNG based 3) overpowered
Nice job Blizzard... I think you still have a lot to learn from wotc and mtg.
At first I was angry that Mage got such a good card... then again, it isn't THAT great. It keeps mage from casting a spell on a turn in the midgame, it's not sticky so you can probably remove what pops out quite easily as Priest, especially with Embrace the Shadow.
At first I thought it was really grossly overpowered, but someone compared it to the class cards at 6 cost like Fire Elemental and Mysterious Challenger and I was not as mad.
I feel like people are vastly overestimating this card. Sure, it's a decent card, but nowhere near the powerlevel of, for example, Mysterious Challenger (also a 6-drop). This is comparable to 6-drops like Cabal Shadow Priest, Savannah Highmane, Piloted Sky Golem or Fire Elemental.

its battlecry, dont compare it to better(deathrattle) or different cards lol just bcs theyre at same mana cost. dont get me wrong, i still think it will uderperform, but its totally different than mentioned cards. Its raw power, here and now, pure stats of around 9 power average that wont be bgh, thats druids lvl stuff.
Of course you have to compare it to cards with the same mana cost, especially when the cards mentioned also (usually) will take care of two or more cards from your opponent. How else would you compare cards?

You are not prepared!

Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
Why are the legendary's a thousand times worse than the commons? Why?.....because Blizzard made horrible horrible awful decisions with this expansion.
well hast to be proofen in constructed, arena insame though
I can imagine needing 4 dmg for lethal, top decking this and getting arcane golem
New shredder doesn't need to die.

So if you have bran plus this and it first summoned bran. Does 2nd bran procs to give a 3rd 3 cost minion?
That would be broken if it works. Infinite value potential

In which universe is this balanced?

I just hope Priest gets another great minion like Shrinkmeister or Holy Champion next.

Because Arena Mages needed to better? Jesus Blizz.
