It won't look like anything. It doesn't keep pace with the current wild meta, is far worse than Cubelock, and is completely outclassed by just playing Naga Giants.
I really don't think it will be a thing, except by die hard fans of the old archtype. I say this because comparing Handlock to Giants Lock is like comparing a deck that uses Jarraxus as a finisher to the player that uses Gul'Dan as a finisher. Once you have Gul'Dan/Giants there is no reason to use Molten/Jarraxus as a win condition.
Handlock is plain worst than Naga Giants or just Cubelock so I don't really think that it will see any more play after the buff. Of course someone who liked the archetype a lot during the good old days will try it again, but it won't become staple on Ladder.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Honestly I can see being more played the Echo od Medivh Mage with Giants than Handlock. Just because Mage has access to Iceblock so he actually get to attack with his giants.I play since 2015 and I can tell that powercreep in Wild is so high right now, that even with a prenerfed Molten Giant Handlock would be Tier 4-5.
Handlock will probably become a variant of nagalock. Maybe teching in sunfury/argus or shadowflame. Also there might be bloodbloom doom decks around dropping early giants and probably using the naga package too.
As long as there is Naga Giantlock, there's no reason to play Handlock. Blizzard NEED to nerf Naga Sea Witch. It doesn't even need a nerf, it simply need to be changed back to the previous version: your minion always cost 5 mana. With the always, it's different from MonkaS and it works like before. With this Giantlock is history and handlock is back.
What do you guys think, how will the new Handlock look like after the buff of the molten giant?
I don't know that it will be much different than the current naga-giant lock.

naga sea bitch needs to be nerfed, otherwise nothing gonna bring handlock back
Handlock? Naga lock is already a thing and 10x better than handlock ever was.
