So what? We should be thankful for the one neutral card that enables us to play the same freaking Miracle again this season? We were asking for something fresh AND viable you know?

Every competitive Rogue deck is based on a single card, Gadgetzan Auctioneer. And It's been for like that since the release of Hearthstone beta. Miracle Rogue deck is fun to play but i want something that feels more "Rogue" like deck and competitive.
Meanwhile every other class had multiple archetypes of competitive decks since release of Hearthstone. Rogue just needs new archetype that feels more like Rogue, not based on Auctioneer.
Also as a WoW player, Rogue utilizing Spell Power to win never feels right. How can Rogue be the class that utilizes the spell power most next to Shaman, even though they don't have mana? Rip correlation
I never expected rogue to be bad at all personally. It looked quite good, and it is. I am not even playing miracle, i am bored of that. Jade trickster ftw. Small-Time Buccaneer is fantastic for weapon classes, and i am sure they knew that. I think they did not give us weapons this time around because they wanted to orient the jade golems around deathrattle and spells for rogue. I enjoy it, and my dagger is just fine :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but Oil Rogue didn't run Auctioneer and it was a top tier deck for a long time.

I actually made a jade rogue with great success so far.. it's fun and seems effective, dunno how strong it is but it uses the basis of a pirate rogue and burgle rogue so it's quite good, Didn't put saps in it but it should be good against both aggro and control due to burgle value and pirate tempo and jade midrange

Maybe you forgot, but Ostkaka, 2015 World Champion, had Oil Rogue without Auctioneer in his decklist (Prep+Sprint was the draw engine). One of the hardests decks to play, so people usually don't remeber it.
Rogue has always been good and will continue to be so. Nevertheless, if the class is provided any sort of god heal mechanism, which the rogue players are whining for since the dawn of time, then it will transform into a new cancer class. So the class is totally OK atm. Shadow Rager is introduced only to make Priest players feel good after Purify mocking. In the next expansion, we will see the exact same thing for a different class and by that Blizzard will appear as they are so 'concerned' for the new card design for each class.
Rogue is more a meta call at the moment, and it's just Miracle punishes the current greedy Druid, Priest, and Renolock decks very hard.
As time passes and we shift a bit, if Aggro Shaman becomes more prevalent than it already is, I fear Rogue will fall from grace once more. It overall has a 40% winrate against Aggro and Midrange Shaman according to vicioussyndicate reports.
Jade Rogue just isn't good enough honestly, the issue is Rogue as a class is never given any sustain to survive for other archetypes to have true success.
Here's what the majority of rogues asked for: A heal (preferably not neutral), a good AOE, and a good weapon. We got none of the three while several other classes got exactly what we wanted. Most of us are pissed because there's cool cards like Anub'arak, Beneath the Grounds, and Shadowcaster that are awesome, incredible cards in a control deck but we're never given the tools to play control. Instead, we're told that Blizz hates combo/OTK decks and then constantly passed cards that only work in that archetype.
Granted, I will admit that I think Jade Rogue is pretty damn strong and I love playing it. But most people will say that the only viable rogue deck is this faster miracle deck which is frustrating because the deck has barely changed over the past few years, regardless of all the new cards that have arrived. So I think rogues (although they have a good deck), still have a right to be somewhat upset since most of us were hoping to shake things up a bit with this expansion.
Yeah good call guys, lololol. Good call.
There were a LOT of harsh words directed at Blizzard. Next time try to keep your mouths shut until you actually have a clue, maybe??
yeah ikr hehe xd
It wasn't the Rogue players complaining, it was reddit circlejerking themselves to the moon, and then the idiots joined in because they were idiots.
