I always hear that Jade is oppressing control players., but i have the feeling this ain´t true. I am actually 19-15 against Druids with 3 diffrent Priestdecks. Compared to un´goro that is an improvement, because most of the times priest got manhandeled by druid in un´goro.
I talked to a friend, who plays warlock and he also thinks, that the game against jade actually become easier (as long as you tech geist), but still we got beaten by aggro more or less easy (token druids and pirates / Tokenshamans really depend on both carddraws).
So with the "oppressing" druid gone, would we see again a more aggro favoured game again? Or will the problem easily shift to priest and warlock, who are more or less the "kings of control" game, since they mostly beat every other control deck, more or less easily?
Nothing ever changes, there would be other oppresors, maybe raza priest or control warlock, even CW, i don't think the deck should be nerfed, it's not 'broken', just strong.
But i do believe that the worst meta will be the meta when control deck will be in charge. So tone down with the nerf threads, look what QR nerf did.
no Druid?, so no Spreading Plague to halt aggro and swarm....so it probably wouldn't have changed from Un'goro's meta, Murloc Paladin, Token Shamman and Pirate Warrior would be Dominating...the Priest's Dk would probably not see play and Warlock builds would still be J4ckiechan's Demonlocked stuffed with AoE......yes, yes i know Un'goro had viable control decks but the top tier decks were aggro decks anyways.
Without druid some other deck would take up the mantle of everyone's favorite salt generator
Let's hold on the kneejerk "crybaby" outcry here. Both Syndicate's data report and Blizzard's own words say that this is NOT just a case of Hatin on the top deck. Priest and shaman are pretty much the only classes that are showing any kind of fight against Druid, and it's NOT a blowout once you are facing fair competition (what rank are you in?). So if you aren't a priest or shaman player then, according to the stats, you are druid food.
No, that's NOT normal, even for a top tier deck. It takes a broken deck like old patron to have a matchup set like what we are seeing now. Nothing is really syncing up in the same way.
Now yes, if druid is dealt with then the rage will go to another deck, but they won't have the stats to prove they are right at that point.
As to the OP Try a deck OTHER than priest and make sure you aren't playing around in a rank lower than you normally play at. If you can still rock druid..well, get to posting your decks and giving advice because the world needs you.
this meta is like gadgetzan in many respects, but with more diversity. druid is super powerful, and if you literally removed the druid class, and all it's cards, then you would probably end up seeing more midrange decks, as control decks teched more towards aggro, midrange would find a little bit more space to take control, I think deck diversity would go up significantly. That is optimistic I know, and I don't suggest they do that, but I think that if they did, diversity would probably be better. nerfing druid ramp might be a better choice though, in fact I think that nerfing druid ramp has been a long time coming, and the main target will be nourish, because the card is more than decent as a draw mechanic, and until ultimate infestation the ramp part of it was super rarely used, so making it one mana crystal would basically just hurt UI decks but not kill druid at all. That may not be enough, and perhaps what they need to do is remove the ramp part of nourish altogether, and either replace it with something else, or make the card not choose one. Another option is to do the simple nerf on nourishes ramp, and also nerf some other ramp card, but the rest of the ramp seems harder to nerf, maybe make wild growth to 3 mana gain a mana crystal, so it is worse because it overlaps another druid ramp, but it has a slight upside for decks that aren't running both, in other words, non-jade decks and decks that don't run UI.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?

What you think is going on. - "Oh man that last druid beat me and seemed to have all the answers, plzzzz neeerrrffff."
What is actually going on. - "Wow, druid is making up almost half of my games and not only that but it is oppressing a large amount of new and old decktypes. Leaving me with very few ways to actually play this game."
I don't know if you are smart enough to comprehend this, but Blizzard doesn't nerf decks because people are salty. They sure as shit don't come out and say that they are aware of the problem when it's simply people on the internet complaining. Just like with quest rogue, druid is over played and warping the game. Regardless of winrate.

He's not saying that Blizz decides whether or not to nerf cards based off of if the player base is frustrated (though that's certainly a factor). He's just saying that in every meta since basically ever (correct me if I'm wrong), people have always been crying about one deck or another. If Druid disappears, people will just start complaining about the next top deck. It's the cycle of salt, and there's nothing to be done about it.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
If priest was the meta, we would see a lot of DK Jaina. I'm 14-2 against priests with my Control DK Mage. The deck is inviable though, impossible to beat any druid deck.

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

Probably evolve shaman which is way worse.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
