When I'm making new decks or thinking about new deck ideas, I always have a tinge of anger for disenchanting my first legendary I got, a Ysera. It bugs me to the core! I was new to the game and read up on what were the best legendaries and I DE'ed her for a sylvanus, which I rarely use (also dc'ed an ancient of lore (but I had 2)). If you could turn back time, what would you have not cremated into dust?
Literally my first pack I got, I received a Tirion Fordring, and I disenchanted him because I didn't know any of the cards. I just recently crafted him again but man when I look back at it, I reallllllly wish I had kept him hahah.
And that is why I don't disenchant anything I don't have doubles of. You will never know what cards will start seeing play and you'll just end up spending twice as much trying to get the cards back again.

This! I'm exactly the same. I've only disenchanted 2 things. The first being Nat Pagle when he got nerfed but you still got a full refund for disenchanting him, and the other thing being a Golden Angry Chicken!
On my old account I DEd a golden Tirion which I got in my first pack to make a warrior aggro. Needless to say it sucked and I got so pissed at my decision that I started a new account and now i'm here :)

Why make a new account? to get the bonus packs?
You know IDK. I guess I wanted to "cleanse the account" haha
And now, the end is here And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and ev'ry highway And more, much more than this, I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway And more, much more than this, I did it my way
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way
I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill, my share of losing And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way, "Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way"
For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!

If you find that funny, well and good. If you find that sad, that's even better.
My first 7 pack I bought I ended up getting a Molten Giant but then DE'd it just to start on a Leeroy Jenkins. Turns out that Molten Giant would have fit well with my Handlock deck and I ended up getting Leeroy Jenkins in another free pack. FML.
I keep telling myself, "It's ok, you were still new to the game!" but it never helps.

Yep thats the feeling I get, and it just irks me and rubs me the wrong way!
Only card I've ever disenchanted (that isn't a dupe) is a Nat Pagle (for 1600) but I'm considering disenchanting a golden nozdormu since im still missing a few legends and already have a regular Noz if he becomes valid (LOL, I can dream). Sort of off topic but what would you guys do?
I was the worst at this. I'd bought many packs last year, and got two copies of King Mukla and Tinkmaster Overspark. It was during the time when neither were considered viable (pre-Tink nerfs too) and I didn't have two copies at the same time. All I wanted at that point was to craft legends I wanted such as Ysera, etc. So I just considered them as dust fodder.
I took about a month and a half break from Hearthstone around January to February due to some real life issues. I came back and saw Tink/Pagle in every deck imaginable. So I de'd my golden Cenarius to craft both of them.. Then they both get nerfed a month or less later lol.
Had a second Nat Pagle, disenchanted him a matter of days before the full refund, even though I knew everyone was saying he would be nerfed. At least I was then able to swap the first one for Cenarius...
I also disenchanted all my unplayed class commons at one point, it's taking forever to put rogue back together, still only have one eviscerate after lord knows how many packs, priest is a mess, warrior is missing a few staples. Not gonna be wasting 40 dust though...
Got rid of kidnapper last weekend, hope I don't live to regret that one...
I will on the other hand keep the very worst gold cards. Had three spellbinders so didn't even need to keep it but the shiny art is too pretty.

I started to DE all the goldens that I had copies for . . . and I agree I like the shinies, so I regret that too!

Not DE but I was sitting on 3200 Dust and decided to craft a Cairne and a Nat Pagle - Pre nurf.
I now wish I crafted a golden Cairne, Since my Golden Priest deck will eventually require me to get one.

Do what you gotta do, be thankful for what you've got. Anger &c, life's too short for wasting. That's just my take.

DE'd a Carine and now wish I had not.
I DE'd a golden Lord Jaraxxus to make a Ragnaros the Firelord. Probably a bone head move and regretted.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

I got a gold Leeroy when I first started playing and was like ugh what a stupid card. I just had to craft him again :( so much pain lol
