Not sure about a top five.. But my favourite deck of all time only resides in Wild now. I suppose I could play it, but the kind of player I am knows it's not the same with different cards introduced/meta states as it once was, so it's not the same.
That favourite deck? Fatigue Mage. Oh how I loved those satisfying 30 minute games with belchers/deathlords/healbots stalling forever. :)
It was more about just being another 4-drop dragon to fill out the curve. The deck only runs six, and I just didn't find any better options. I'd tried higher costed ones, but they weren't as useful. Basically just Twilight Guardian #3. Maybe there'll be better options after the expansion.
Wait a second.. So we pay 8-mana for an understatted card that does literally nothing when you play it.. Then in order to make it get stronger, you have to kill off something else and weaken itself, or waste 6 damage on something small. Then after that, it's SLIGHTLY above stats for what it originally costs? LOL.
I normally never post to complain about new cards.. But my lord this card is GARBAGE.
Make it a 6-drop and I actually think it could be semi-interesting. But even then.. Not really that appealing of an effect for what's supposed to be a legendary.
Hey, how has that worked for you? Raven Idol is a card I wanted to fit in, but just never got the chance. I think I tried running one Nourish before as well, and it was okay. Wild Growth is the one card I found to be pretty bad though, but that's from my experience. Technicians I could see replacing as even when you play them on curve, they aren't amazing. Good, but nothing crazy.
Glad to hear you added Thalnos back, he is indeed very strong in this deck.
Haven't played the deck for a while though as I'm just waiting for Standard to come out. How've your results been in the current meta?
I understand how it might offend some people. My mother had cancer when she was younger, survived fortunately. However, it doesn't bother me at all.
Though I'm the type of person that doesn't get offended easily, especially when it's just random people on the internet throwing around words for a different meaning. It's not like they're making fun of people who get cancer.
I remember in other games people used to often say they "raped" someone, before "rekt" was more of the thing. It's not like people condone "rape" or mean to offend others when they say it.
You could give it a try if you'd like. I find card draw to be extremely necessary in the deck to ensure you don't get stuck with clunky spell or dragon-needers without the dragon hands. The spell power off Thalnos is also really good too. I'd suggest either Kobold Geomancer or maybe even a Gnomish Experimenter (I used to run one before).
Does anyone know if they might nerf GvG cards during the same patch? I mean, I wouldn't really expect them to given that they'll be moved out of Standard. However, given that they're open to changing cards now, I'm just curious if they might change a few at the same time.
Anyone know if it's confirmed that that ONLY the Basic/Classic cards will be changed? Cause if that's true, I'll be doing some GvG dusting. (Not all, I just wanna get started on cleaning up my collection a bit.)
I know the deck looks like it lacks early game, but it strongly makes up for it with Keepers, Corrupters, and the amount of spells. You don't have to save Moonfires/Living Roots for combo pieces unless it's a slow matchup like Priest or Warrior. If you have the luxury to save them in other matchups, then by all means it's okay.
Innervate plays are disgusting with this deck, especially with Blackwing Corrupter. Where your early game curve lacks, Innervate 100% makes up for assuming you can draw it. If not, spells and efficient minions are your friend. There's plenty of draw power to the deck as well, so you often won't run out of steam.
Thalnos is great, Chillmaw was meh when I played him before, and just no space for DotC. I've considered trying Brann though. If you wanna give him a go, feel free to try. I wish Keepers counted as a battlecry haha.
I don't mean to jack this thread, so apologies for this..
While the deck's combo is pretty fun and cool, we all know it's not very reliable and just can't be done in most matchups. I've been playing my own "Dragon Druid" that also includes this combo, except doesn't rely on it. It's more like Dragon Priest with potential combo finisher vs slower matchups. 71% Win Rate from 4 to Legend; check it out.

Our Kickstarter has finally launched!
PS: Sorry, I know this is an old topic.. But I had permission to update and bump it.

Title. Not sure if it's supposed to happen, but it did. He came off my inspire trigger and won me the game.
Yes it was Standard and not Wild. I wouldn't expect this to be intended as he was rotated out?
Edit: My bad, didn't know it was answered before. A mod can close/delete this thread, thanks for letting me know.

I'd wait till the patch hits and new expansion is released.. Given that cards will be nerfed/changed, and a complete shift in the meta entirely.
But.. If you're really set on crafting one of those now, probably go with Rag or Sylvanas.

Yeah that's pretty much what I'm thinking. Totally agree with your entire post lol.

Took my old deck from TGT release and it carried me to Legend! Check it out, I've got stats and proof posted as well. :)
