If you can't wait 90 seconds for another player to make a move, that says a lot about you.
Watching supposedly professional players do emote spam - I gotta say yeah, sure, put in a chat box. Seemingly contradictory, but there can't be anything stupider than emote spam. Just make chat optional so players that don't want it can perma-shut it off.
I'd say it isn't Zoo. It shouldn't be Zoo, it shouldn't try.
I'd say Zoo works like this - you put durable minions on the board, then pop on attack buffs. When you attack buff a 1-drop minion to kill a 4-drop minion, you have higher cost efficiency. There's other little dynamics in there like 1-drop Shieldbearer sucking up most attacks from 2-3 drops allowing key minions to survive.
So you start adding stuff like Leper Gnome, Undertaker, Nerubian Egg - you start screwing with that base dynamic. Instead of Flame Imp for early attack power, Shieldbearer for durability, Amani Berserker and other tech, you're left with . . . what? Not that characteristic dynamic. The deck is slower. That means you're going to need to think about opponent burst finisher combos and other shenanigans.
Personally I'm going to try using Loot Hoarder and a bunch of higher-cost minions, shift away from weenie aggro. Ancient Watcher, Sunfury Protector, like "handlock toolbox" or some pretentious name. But that's a bit besides the point - what I'm saying, again, is not that the OP deck is bad or whatever, but just that I don't think it fits into the "zoo" archetype.
(shrug) but whatever it's not important what it's called. (orders five pounds of chicken, gets five pounds of turkey) >.>
Most of the Northern Hemisphere defines Summer as June 1st.
North America defines summer as June 21st (along with a minority of other countries)
This is so wrong it hurts.
Summer doesn´t start "meteorologically" on an arbitrary date like June 1st.
"Astronomically" it starts on June 21st in most of the northern hemisphere (not the USA and a "minority of countries), which is the day of the summer solstice and not some random date, and the only reasonable date to start summer. And it ends on equinox which is the 22 or 23 of September. The gregorian calendar is arbitrary. The sun is not.
It doesnt matter where it technically starts. All it matters is what people have agreed to. Summer starts at June 1st thats what 99% of Earth's population believes.
Hearthstone needs a replay function imo. Bunch of other things too, like notepad or autofunction to track opponent / personal cards played, ability to see your own decklist while you are playing, bla bla. Maybe a probability calculator, pets, skins, &c &c.
If the only reason I want gold is to enter arenas, then if a free version of the arena is available I don't need gold any more, do I?
Another good post by ContentsMayVary imo.
Re: "staying on topic" - come on, the OP him/herself is speculating why one would or would not do those things. Besides the topic is under discussion. Just let 'er rip.
1. Just because an idea makes sense to you personally doesn't mean it's a good idea in business terms.
2. I wouldn't play such a mode, and I think it would be bad business. Extending from (1) above, yeah, that's just my personal opinion. But it *is* my opinion.
(snip) What I'm worried about is the fact that new players are thrown right into the middle of the casual pool. (snip)
In my experience, this is not correct.
After I ran my P2W NA account for a goodly amount of time, I decided to create F2P Europe and Asia accounts. I created some F2P decks and rose in rank, stabilizing between rank 10 and 15.
I'm gonna cut your quote off right there, because you seem to have missed one extremely vital part of the original post — namely, that we're talking about casual play, not ranked.
So if I take decks into Casual on my F2P Europe and Asia accounts and win a high percentage of initial games, will that do?
Maybe he did not "asked" to get the input form his friends, but he didn't warn the judges he received unwanted information. It would have been really simple to just raise his hand and call the judges and mention this. If he had done that he would be clear of all suspicion.
I think Amaz said in his Youtube video that rdu was the one that called the judges over.

Let's set a standard that people don't know about. So when others don't follow our standards we can sneer at them and call them rude.

There's other opinions. Personally I wouldn't mess around with DE unless you have a pretty good idea of what's what

I could write a wall of text on Miracle Rogue.
From a player that has all the cards yet hovers around rank 20 nonlegendary. Heh heh.
Do you want text wall? lemme kno <3

1. You can choose to go 10/5 instead of 5/10. Usually not the way to go, but there are times it saves you.
2. Most of your opponent's minions get badly hurt by 5 damage. 8 damage is nice but it's overkill.
3. 10 health is harder to remove than 8. The health is what's important.
4. Comes out 1 turn faster. Important.
5. BGH doesn't target the 5/10 taunt form.
Yeah the 5/10 or 10/5 can be silenced down to a 5/5. But for all those reasons, running AoW is usually preferred.
But yeah in some meta / decks I can see Ironbark Protector favored.

OP said he killed original Alexstrasza with Shadow Word. So probably not, unless he made a mistake.
Or maybe OP confused Nozdromu for Alexstrasza or something.
Or maybe casual random friendly matches allow multiple Legend picks if you have both gold and regular versions.

Probably your opponent got it with Thoughtsteal or something.

Actually Explosive Trap triggers off before an attack regardless of wording. That's why minions die b4 landing blows.

Just sayin, if you had text (in Chinese or otherwise) but not a scan of an actual card itself, you might just go ahead and make a mock-up.
People like pictures with their text.
