    Either keep grinding for gold or pony up for more packs. No sense disenchanting good cards for a single deck. Next expansion could see a Confessor/Vehlen/Justicar super deck take over and you are out cards.

    To me, people crying, "cancer", are people who want Blizzard to nerf a deck and force a meta change. And more often than not it's a person who is mad they can't get some wombo combo deck involving multiple Legendaries to go off. It's not cancer, it's just salt.

    If folks want an absolute sure fire way to play against deck X, make use of your friends list and play test in a controlled setting.

    Just another idea I had for freeze mage decks. Not game breaking, but trouble some for aggro decks that puke out minions quickly. Might give a mage some time to catch up.

    No love for Dreadsteed? No love for Twilight Gaurdian? Both are cornerstones for their respective decks. My personal fave is Dreadsteed. Dreadlock decks are super fun to play.

    Thanks. The art was what came up on an image search for dreaming whelp. That was the best of the bunch. Stat wise 2/1 or 1/2, don't matter much to me.

    This is is my first ever contest entrant. I wanted something Dragon related as I like the theme. I always thought Ysera's card Dream was cool, and figured and wanted to create an Ironbeak Owl type minion with Sap's effect. I also didn't require the player to have a dragon, because not everyone likes dragon decks and is great for aggro, tempo, combo, or control.

    I think the effect is great for both offensive and defensive purposes. Youthful Brewmaster is cool, but doesn't help if you are behind the 8 Ball and need to bounce an enemy minion. Kidnapper is just bad altogether considering you can play Sap for two, which can double a Rogue's bounce ability or free up two spots for other tech.

    I look forward to feedback both positive or negative.

    I want it to consume the armor it uses.  It's a no-brainer right now.  Damage to a minion for 1 mana with no downside, often 10 or more damage for a good CW.  It's essentially another major removal.

    And the reason I put this suggestion into this thread is because this thread is dealing with armor removal...and if Shield Slam consumes the armor, then it fits.

    My main point is there is NO downside to Shield Slam.  Every warrior who uses their hero ability should be running it.

    Not unreasonable at all. I still think Execute is better despite the little drawback of life, minion, or card loss.

    I already suggested that. The OP is clearly stuck on having a "tech" card to make his OTK deck bypass armor altogether. You know, because god forbid a person plays a deck that has a bad match up. In that case, I want Kezan's battle cry to be to remove all secrets from that game, just because secrets Pally's annoy me.

    I'm agreeing with the secondary discussion that Warrior has the best value in hard removals. With no drawbacks at all. But removing armor or bypassing is just plain dumb.

    They already have a tech card like that; it's called Flare.

    Seriously though, whether it's "needed" or not is questionable, but it certainly *feels* like it should be something in the game considering there's specialized tech versus almost EVERY other facet of the game. Yes, I would say there's even more specialized tech against health than armor and her name is Alexstrasza.

    I don't think it's needed immediately, but with the proliferation of ever stronger control warrior decks it's something that should be considered. More to the point, cards that give an insane boost to a control warrior's ability to survive like Justicar Trueheart, and a universally strong removal spell like Shield Slam that is great versus both aggro AND control (versus aggressive decks it + hero power are basically "Gain 2 life kill a minion" and versus control it's not uncommon for a control warrior versus a control deck to have well over 8 armor - enough to kill basically anything) all based around armor and to some extent another highly competitive deck in freeze mage relying on it, it's something that should be considered moving forward.

    I also think MORE armor should be added to other classes. I'm not necessarily saying "Give paladins and shamans" armor or something - but that should also be considered - but at least give druids more options to gain armor outside of his hero ability. Then this whole thing about "STOP TRYING TO NERF WARRIOR" would be blunted a bit as it'd be more generalized tech like Kezan Mystic or Big Game Hunter.

     

    EDIT: Also why would destroying or bypassing armor be "dumb"? The game is based on WoW and spells bypass armor and there are abilities that reduce armor. If anything it seems dumb that it isn't already in the game.

    And Flare can only be used by one class. This is about making a neutral card for everybody instead of saying, "Hey if max health can be capped for Priests, maybe Warriors ability to armor up should be capped too." Which truly is the most correct way to deal with this. I've already stated that that I think Warrior's removals are OP. Instead of everyone wishing for more cards to combat their problems, maybe people should wish for Blizzard to step back and fix what's already in play. Having Shield Bash remove armor equal to that minions attack or life is a great idea. Same with Execute.

    I'll even go with you on one part of your last point. Let's make a minion or spell that has SOME armor destruction. Or a minion that can bypass armor or spells, but cannot be buffed to OTK. But to ask for a card that specifically destroys all armor or bypasses it In order to OTK a warrior is ridiculous not matter what the cost or size of the minion.

    I'm not inherently pro anything. I play control. I play aggro. I play combo. I see the fun in all those styles. If I play OTK, it's up to me to get my combo off before I fizzle out. And I accept that their are just match ups not good for me and move on with life. If the meta is dictating that a certain deck is not viable at the moment, then it's up to me to find another way to win my games.

    More cards to facilitate game issues just creates more problems, thus creating the need for more cards and so on....

    Holy crap! I just found Blizzards business model! I must go into hiding.
