Is there really that much point to High Priest Thekal if you only have 1 potential lifesteal minion and no other heals? lol
No. But it still works at that slot and if you can get heals it helps for later in the game. You can gain health and it's not a bad 3/4 in terms of tempo. You could replace those 2 cards with Corridor Creeper. But I do not own those. I dusted them last nerf. :)
I have healed in matches when played. And it throws people off a little bit I think.
The Mech package odd pally is still absolutely fine. Replace the Level Up! with 2 discover a Tarim cards and you’re good, I’ve noticed absolutely no drop in win rate.

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
Mech Odd Paladin is still a thing, and it's still rockin'. Or, you know, you could just play Odd Rogue now that one of it's biggest threats is gone. Or you can just play any Hunter deck. Looks like the game went from Druidstone to Hunterstone within a few hours.

It's massively rockin'. I forgot to mention that the above deck works with Farraki Battleaxe instead of Vinecleaver, with the buffed mechs keeping the buffs upon revival. Replaces the 5-slot too, and makes it potentially outlast the next rotation.

Legends say, even a trained monkey could have achieved a 55% winrate with the old odd pally deck.
Says the guy with two forum posts. Every (good) deck in hearthstone requires significant thought and planning in order to achieve the best results. PART of the reason Odd Paladin had a high winrate was because it's been around a long time - anyone who was playing it in the last month has probably played it A LOT. And the meta was pretty favorable. So, that's why it was an unusually high winrate.
I promise you, there have always existed hard counters to odd pally. As far as strong decks go, it was not even in the top 10 strongest decks in hearthstone history. And it definitely required significant thought, just like EVERY good deck does.
(To 2IQ_Community) I don't know if you played Odd Paladin as much as some people here did, I include myself, but it was not a brainless deck. There are always things to think about, specially in Aggro decks, where time usually runs against you.
Man just play zoolock, that deck is not going to work anymore unless Blizzard would change Tarim or the 3/4 that buffs your silver hands to odd mana cost

aggro decks are (and will always be) thought as braindead decks... I thought so the same, but the opposite is true... you dont go face all the time like facehunter back in the day... Smart trading and going face in certain situations are key in aggro strategy... the problem is always finding the right time to trade and go face... going face and leaving the wrong minion alive costs you the game, trading too much will leave you out of steam and you will loose...

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
This looks too cute to me with things like Thekal and Paragon of Light. I could see Nesting Roc being useful; 11 stats plus taunt is good on 5. I'm not sure why you'd exclude Corridor Creeper from this list. That card wasn't impacted by Level Up either way. I feel like Stonehilll is still probably better than Tar Creeper if you're going to run a 3-mana taunt. And double Vinecleaver still feels like a thing you should be playing, even though Level Up! is gone. Especially because you're still going to want to go wide for Stormwind Champion.
Stop whining about nerfs and get back out there on the Ladder!

That's not odd paladin, except it still uses Baku. The whole point of odd paladin was Level Up!
Without Level Up!, why are you swarming 1/1's that cannot be anything other than 1/1's? For the memes?
It still works. You get the benefits by added cards like Frostwolf Warlord and Nesting Roc.
Also the Void Ripper / Raid Leader combo still shines.
It may not have the Burst potential but I think with other nerfs it still performs well for any F2P budget deck.
If you already have the cards.
Wait a moment, I'm not seeing the Baku in that deck lol
I made a wild version cuz you still got a bunch of OP cards and QuarterMaster and went 4-0 with a small sample.

Fixed. Had 1 too many Argent Squire.

Here you go guys - seriously try it out, it's less brainless and works just as well:
