UNDEAD MURLOCS
(a mix of Water Rogue and Deathrattle Rogue)
(Season 40 July 2017) fast Legend in first week [50% WILD cards]
Low Skill Floor - High Skill Cap, you can compare this deck to oldschool Zoolock
Ahoi, my name's Kohai and this is my deck guide about a mix of Water Rogue and Deathrattle Rogue. This deck is A LOT different than the Water Rogue in Standard as it contains a lot of Wild cards which allows us to use the most powerful ones in the history of Hearthstone. I got legend with this list on the 7th of the season. The Idea of this deck is to beat every minion based deck. (aggro, midrange) The downside however, are decks like Freeze Mage and Control Shaman don't need a board to win and can deal with your board. (Freeze Mage ignores it and Control Shaman has Devolve and Hex) The second point: big minions early on (Miracle Rogue with Edwin VanCleef and Innerfire Priest with their buffs) you don't have a single hard removal except 1x Sap.
Proof and Decklist as Pic:
Your game plan:
Against Aggro: Try to keep board control in early game with strong combos like Nerubian Egg + Unearthed Raptor. Backstab, Swashburglar, Patches the Pirate, Southsea Deckhand and your Hero Power help you to get board control. You might get a lot damage to face until around turn 4 - 7 where you should be a able to taunt up, stabilize and win the game 1 - 2 turns after that with strong comeback mechanics like Cold Blood and Finja, the Flying Star.
Against Midrange: Curve out, take almost all trades. Finja, the Flying Star most of the times wins you the game alone here. Take trades until you get to a point where you can either burst your opponent down with Coldbloods, Eviscerates and Deckhands OR they can't clear your board.
Against Control: Always keep deathrattle minions alive to avoid good board clears. Take value trades and go face. Hope you get a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 curve, The Curator helps to not run out of steam until you can burst them either down or you win by board control.
Hey man! Do u think that this type of a deck could be still viable in wild? Maybe add in a corridor creeper or 2 :P
so surprise about this deck but i change one [card]Sludge Belcher[/card] for [card]Sylvanas Windrunner [/card] for extra value http://imgur.com/a/hkXdx
After about 50 games played , Oldest version
This is IMO.
1. Finley is nothing , yes basic hero power is great with early tempo , if u draw finley on turn 1 , you will really not play it ?
Im sure I play Finley in the right place but I struggle 3 times win with opponant 1 hp and I lose.
- 1 Finley +1 bluegill Warrior your change was right it help to Buff Old Muk Eye and +2 attack [ itself ] or +4 attack [ w/ warleader ]
In your newest version with Ship's cannon im trying it now.
but I think -1 Argus and +1 Thalanos is better cuz I can deal with Togg , Totem Golem , Mana warm , etc.
Only 1 Argus because you only play Argus in Turn 2 egg turn 3 raptor turn 4 argus [if u curve like this u usually win against Aggro]
top deck Argus in mid game with no board [ if behide ] it useless . btw this is only my opinion .
what do you think about changes? could we get legend ?
Seems odd not to have N'zoth, considering you have 2x shredder, 2x belcher, sylvanus in there. I know the spiders and eggs aren't great to pull at the end of the match though.
Maybe with the inclusion of Golakka Crawler the haunted creepers could be replaced with something else?
Why did you not use Bloodmage Thalnos in the deck? WOuld he be bad?
Also, would Tomb Pillager be good in this deck? How about N'zoth the Corrupter or Edwin VanCleef?
Would N'zoth be good? There are so many powerful deathrattle minions.
Any replace for Sir Finley ? I have that , but imo its good for your seasons but what if its pulled by Finja ?
I'm trying your version with Finley now and I'll give it a comment when I play it about 10 games . Could you please do mulligan guide please ?
great deck! I've been looking for a decent water rogue deck. This one has been working great. However I replaced 1 sludge belcher for Leeroy and I've had success with it. Just wanted to let others know! great deck OP!
Good work on this deck, i had rogue quest today and generally just use wild as a place to do quests for fun. I streaked into 10 using this and had a good time doing it. i misclicked when i built the deck and accidentally put drakonid crusher instead of sylvanas and its actually really good too lol. by the time you pull it with curator it usually can trigger and sets up a lethal.
Really interesting deck! Unfortunately, I was in casual for my first four games and didn't even realize it lol. 4-0 in casual, 1-0 in ranked thus far. Will have to play more later :)
Looks great, although I do not own Murk eye and am not sure if its worth a craft before KFT
Looks like a very good deck. Since the deck is pretty aggressive, what do you think of cutting a belcher for a Dr. Boom? Just because Boom is more pressure?
you know i was looking for a strong wild rogue to play, i was thinkin in a deathrattle kinda deck but idk... now seeing this! thanks a lot dude ;) ill try it!
PD: i dont desagree in your Finley arguments but have u think in another murloc response? maybe coldlight or primalfin? idk... just wondering.
pd2: english isnt my first lenguage so sorry if i made a mistake.
