Best control paladin deck out there!
i dont have Ivory Knight The Curator Wickerflame Burnbristle what do i replace it with?
Just got Legend with this deck, replacing the Stegodon with Stampeding Kodo to deal with Finja and taunt warrior minions.
I really like the deck, it seems to eat pirate warrior and midrange hunter. I had some issues with secret mage initially, but learned how to play against them over time. I still have trouble against shaman decks and miracle priest, but those matches never felt hopeless.
I'd rather replace Ivory Knight with Kodo since Stegodon can sometimes save your butt and you have quite a lot of occasions to use it here. Ivory Knight is kind of meh anyway.
I can craft either Rag or Sunkeeper. What should I get and what should I replace with the other one?
u cant miss those two at the same time, i tried it isnt possible sorry :( ucan go a little more midrange version with sunkeeper tho)
If I want to add Elise, which card should I remove?
Probably an ivory knight
It's true that there's only one, but the deck has enough healing imo with lay on hands, wicker flame and ragnaros. Besides Dirty rat is pretty important in lots of match up these days such as quest rogue, freeze mage (If you manage to pull medivh, alex or even antonidas) and it's a good taunt against aggro decks.
I was getting mauled by mages and then I put a Eater of Secrets into the deck to replace the stegodon.
Also, I put in two Devilsaur Egg instead of a Dirty Rat and a Lay on Hands and have found that they have really good synergy with the Equality + Consecration combo. If my opponent isn't running transformation or sap, the egg is an amazing target for a Spikeridged Steed. Nobody wants to kill a minion that drops a 5/5 and a 2/6 taunt.
I was doing well with this deck at first, I had like 6 wins in a row, but now I have lost 6-8 times in a row. I cannot seem to get the right pulls, either I am too low on health and get wrecked by a face hunter or it plays out long enough for Quest mage to get 4 Sorcerer's Apprentices out with Antonidas and Free Fireball me to death. What am I doing wrong?
It also seems like Wickerflame gets taken out too quickly to do any sufficient amount of healing. I get like 2 to 4 at most from him.
Would love to see more vids. Got spanked by pirates and an interactive burn mage.
Edit: Then won a few in a row. Made a mage suicide via a secret as Iceblock didn't proc on his turn.
I can see this being fun!
I'm doing really well with this deck and having a great time. Crawled my way from 18 to 12.
I'm having a huge problem with Control Priests, though, and the higher I climb the more I encounter. I'm getting out resourced (especially with the Un'goro Packs coming from Trailblazer).
Any suggestions?
Looks fun, but I only have 2/5 legendaries and 1/4 epics. Damn. And I already wasted dust on the Druid Quest.
Replacements for Wickerflame Burnbristle? Any suggestions? I'm short on dust or I'd craft it.
Considering it's job I feel like a 2nd Ivory Knight or Spikeridged could be fine...Not saying that I know this is anywhere near optimal though /disclaimer
It's a super good stall card especially when you start getting get away kodos against any kind of aggression. I cannot think of anything besides a tar creeper that does even half the work the Burnbristle does.
