Intro:
I love to Theorycraft before an adventure comes out!
I am also a big Hunter fan, I reached legend with Hunter twice.
Also I can say that I have a golden hunter and 4000 normal wins.
Soo Let me show you why this deck is special:
Deathrattle idea:
You have got the strongest qdeathrattle cards from the game in this deck, use your Feign Death to trigger them. Use your Baron Rivendare to double the effect. The funny thing about Explorer's Hat is that it works like Headcrack, you always get it back in your hand. Use this card to trigger your Nerubian Egg. A strong combo is to do first Explorer's Hat on a minion and follow your play with a Feign Death. Why one Echoing Ooze? Play this card and put an Explorer's Hat on him, after this turn you can Feign Death if your oozes are still alive! These plays wil give you so much extra Explorer's Hats for the rest of the game :) Try to keep board control, that's important.
Why 1x Feign Death ??
I think that 2x feign death is not steady enough. If you got 2 feign death in your (early) hand without having deathrattle drops or hat's it will be useless and you will lose the game for sure. I replaced 1 feign death with an Ironbeak Owl because the owl is just a very effective silence card. In this meta you will need that. If you don't agree with me, just put a second feign death in your deck and let me know how that works for you! ;)
Update:
I replaced a sludge belcher with the new LoE card Djinni of Zephyrs!
Why did I put a Djinni of Zephyrs in this deck..? Because it is made for a perfect combo with the Explorer's Hat. It isn't actually a bad drop if you don't have a explorer's hat in your hand. Just wait for it and play this card together with explorer's hat. It gives you an extra hat and a 5/7 on the board! I've tried this theory out today and it worked out really good. It makes the deck also even more fun. ;)
Update 2:
When Sir Finley Mrrgglton is playable and available, you should throw that card in your deck!! Try to mulligan it and use this card get yourself a better hero power for your midrange/control/combo deck. I theory crafted this card so im not sure how good it will work out. I am very excited to test it out! Until that you can replace Sir Finley with an Abusive Sergeant or a Leper Gnome.
Own choice:
You can put a Lock and Load instead of an abusive sergeant in this deck.
After a lot of playing with this deck I've realized that the deck needs some extra card draw. Because you will end up a lot of time with a lot of hats, this is where Lock and Load comes in action! You can Just keep drawing cards. I am not a really big fan of lock and load, I also think that there are not enough low cost spells in this deck. So I kept the abusive sergeant. It is on you to decide which card fits better in your deathattle deck. Thank you for all the feedback!

The main problem of control or combo hunters is low ability for draw cards. This deck have no card draws, yes, deathrattle can help your side of board be not empty, but there are really no draws, how about add some? I think one or two Cult Master gonna be useful, but i am not sure about replacement.
I absolutely love the concept of this deck, I'm having a lot of fun with it already. In regards to people saying this deck loses badly to aggro, try replacing the Abusive Sergeant with a Wild Pyromancer. This card synergises extremely well with Explorer's Hat and you are able to deal a lot of AOE damage.
Hunter is one of my least favorite classes to play, so when I landed hunter quest I was annoyed. This deck saved me the tedium of playing something dull like face or midrange hunter - five straight wins, and each was a silly amount of fun. Thanks!
This deck is a lot of fun. No, I am not kidding - I am DEADly serious.
Unfortunately I'm just getting owned by aggro with this deck. I really like the concept though. I need to see how to help the early game against Face Hunter and Mech Mage. Both are just so bad.
Like others, played about 6 games and didn't win a single game. A slow deck with no heals, no taunt, and no AoE...it's pretty obvious what's going to happen.
It's not a control deck though, so stay bad please.
This deck is so much fun and I have had a rather surprising win-rate with it I was able to get from rank 13 to mid rank 9 with roughly a 85% win-rate I didn't have a feign death so I put in an explosive trap to deal with aggro decks, which made it even better. At rank 9 I got stuck. I added eydis darkbane around rank 11 and that boosted my win-rate. Overall very fun and semi effective deck. Thank you!

I did and it is fine(i dont't have feign death), but i also got rid of a juggler, egg and creeper and added loot hoarder, acolyte and multi-shot(for some card draw and removal)
Can anyone help me with the mulligans?

Which card could I use to replace Sylvanas and Dr.Boom if I didn't have any of them? And should I add something like Deadly Shot for strong minion removal?
I'm noticing this as well. Once this deck gets going it snowballs quickly out of control. But I lose pretty hard to face aggro. Been thinking about Explosive Trap. What else would you recommend?
EDIT: I also added Eydis Darkbane. Going to see how she fares. So far so good!
Played 4 games so far only got a good combo once. Last 3 games I am losing to agro/face decks because I don't draw any good combo cards.
Problem with this deck is everybody concedes with 5 turns and I don't get to play the Baron!

These hats lost the game for me.
sylvanis + feign deathx2 with baron on board = very sad secret pally. Yoink x4. Other than that this deck is weak vs aggro, due to the lack of taunts or heals. Might throw a sludge Belcher or heal bot to survive til combos are possible.
