I remember the early days, playing around Mind Control. I only played big minions when I knew I could remove them if they were taken from me the next turn, or if I needed a priest to spend a whole turn without healing. Now, however, Entomb has taken MC's spot and it is a lot easier to use and a lot harder to play around.
this works wonders vs c'thun decks
I think Mysterious Challenger has taken the title of card most likely to make your opponent punch the wall
Your opponent spends their entire turn to take one of your cards. They can't attack with it immediatly. They can't play any other cards such as removal or healing. Please explain to me your thought process on how this card is broken? If you have two midrange minions in play, Mind Controlling only one of them doesn't answer the threat of the other. Given how Priest's have barely any board clears to control the board they are going to accrue a lot of face damage from the early game and are typically close to losing against aggro and midrange decks by the time they can play this. Any time you spend your entire turn to do one thing, it has to be game-winning or you are just going to lose because you get out-tempo'd. It's only good in a control mirror and even then what turn 10 cards are you going to steal? Sylvanas Windrunner has been played already. Dr. Boom has been played already. A N'Zoth, the Corruptor generates too many threats to answer with a Mind Control. Also given how slow this card is, you can typically only run one copy of it in your deck, and even so, if you draw it early it can still sit as a dead card in your hand for the whole game.
This card is barely usable as is, and if so typically as a one of. Entomb is a much better variant of this card that can be played earlier in the game to answer threats as they appear.
"That's a nice Ragnoros you got there, it would be a shame if something happened to it"-Me, when my opponent had 8 health and 1 minion.
I remember the days where this card was never played in priest mirrors because you knew opponent also have it. You'd play it only if you're holding 2 of it and it was still risky. Now it's forgotten.
That flavor text XD
Ok I'll admit it, I stole a Wisp with this once
Muito boa essa carta. Roubada... já virei muito jogo com ela!
Same.
used to be 8 mana
The most butthurt card ever
Not for today's meta but still a great card.
This card should cost eight mana. "emotional" response is a bogus reason to nerf a balanced card.
I'm pretty sure it was just an excuse, and not really the actual reason for the nerf. Blizzard isn't clueless, nor even close to it. I'm pretty sure it was meant to make this card high risk, high reward, as it now forces you to spend a turn without healing, which can be fatal if you are greedy. And boy some priests are greedy...
I hate when my opponent plays this card and steals my best minion.
i like golden animation
where is the "i like golden animation" guy??
Oh Mind Control...
...
I hate you.
