Update 2:27 PM EDT: Added section on mulligans from Ben Brode and an update on "Tuesdays"
Blackrock Mountain: Potential Release on April 3rd
This article contains information removed from an official Blizzard website. It may not be accurate.
An interesting bit of information appeared and disappeared on the Korean Battle.net support website today.
A section in this article which provides information on the refunding of Blackrock Mountain pre-orders stated that they could only be refunded until the release of the first wing. The time just before the release of the first wing stated on the article is April 3rd at 5:59 AM KST.
We have been unable to confirm that this text existed, but if you look at the revision date on the article, it was indeed modified today.

If this date is accurate, the real question is how is Blizzard planning on doing the release schedule? If it's worldwide at the same time, we will see Blackrock Mountain pop up for an early evening release on the American East Coast (April 2nd at 5 PM EDT), and an evening release in Europe (April 2nd at 9PM GMT).
Looking back at Naxxramas though, the regional releases were not at the same time, so we may also be waiting until April 3rd.

- Refund period: Black Rock Mountain, One Earth can be refunded until opened (April 3 5:59 a.m. planning / exact time may vary ).
Expansion Release History
Update: It is also worth mentioning that while it is true that Blizzard historically releases patches and expansions on Tuesdays, they certainly haven't always done so, and it's even less likely when looking at Hearthstone. This means that it is possible we will see Blackrock Mountain on a non-Tuesday.
- Warlords of Draenor: Released on Thursday, November 13, 2014.
- Curse of Naxxramas: Wings always came out on a Wednesday, although the adventure itself was Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
- Goblins vs Gnomes: Release on Monday, December 8, 2014.
It is also worth pointing out that for Hearthstone, we learned about expansion releases just days beforehand, so there is still time for Blizzard to make an official announcement for April 3rd.
- Curse of Naxxramas
- Release date of July 22, 2014 learned on July 17, 2014.
- 4 business days before release.
- Goblins vs Gnomes
- Release date of December 8, 2014 learned on December 2, 2014.
- 3 business days before release.
Mulligan Changes
Ben Brode said on Twitter today that mulligans are likely to receive a change in the future, so that you are unable to see what your opponent mulligans. The team doesn't know when this will happen as it is a low impact issue for most players and there are other priorities.
Quote from Ben BrodeAny plans to hide the opponent's mulligan before yours? I know it's there to feel real, but it negatively affects high level play.
Ideally we would hide it, but it is somewhat challenging and low impact for most players. (Ben Brode)
Low impact for most players means nothing when it harms high level play and has literally NO downside to implementing for others.
What I meant is that we agree that it should change, just a matter of figuring out how to prioritize it. (Ben Brode)

This was accurate after all.
Well the answer here is very simple, don't hide mulligan, just make it that players choose the cards and when they both did the mulligan happens simultaneously.
That's what the post means, liquirius, he wants the mulligan to happen simulatously not do it instantly like it does now.
Wow... I´m worse at probability than I was even aware. Honestly I would like to hear a detailed explanation about this mulligan deal.
Assuming the very worse case scenario:
Tournament play. I have a detailed knowledge of my opponents deck (assume I know every card on that deck).
No mulligan: He has a good starting hand.
Mulligan: He may or may not have a good starting hand.
How is this a "must change now" thing?
Im being honest... I know that those master strategists of randomness like to grab every lethal edge they but this sounds like a microscopical thing at best to me. So please, enlighten me so I can learn to play my randomly drawn cards against the randomly drawn cards of my opponent best. (I joke about the randomness there, fyi).
Well the most common example is against Warlocks where you assume that if they keep most of their hand, they're playing Zoo, and if it's Handlock then they tend to drop more cards on average.
I wouldn't hide a mulligan; in 'real' play you would see it, and I think that if they started hiding things it would take away from the impression that you are playing face to face.
I think they should have it to where both players would mulligan the cards at the same time.
That's what the post means
A typical example : some time ago, when facing Warlock, it would be either Zoo or handlock. Usually, when opponents mulligans lot of cards it is more likely a handlock, since he is looking for more specific cards than Zoo (who has more redundancy between cards).
So, by waiting for opponent to mulligan, you can get little but in some cases valuable extra information, that you could use to decide whether keeping you own Big Game Hunter or some AOE spell. At top level of play you search for any kind of edge you can get, and this is one.
This is one example, and there can be other that relate to the quality of opponent's hand, the probability of him having found a specific card, etc.
So at high level of play, in some cases you will see opponents wait right until the end of the timer for mulligan choices in order not to give any additionnal information to the opponent. => This can be boring to watch and may seen as an avoidable loss of time for the players.
I would last mention that the question is not to hide the mulligans performed, but to not allow one player to adapt his mulligan to his opponent's.
OMG, rly?
This is nothing, zoo mulligans a lot too, anybody mulligans bad hands, so this is truly nothing.
Personally I dont care of this change, there nothing to see from how many card mulliganed my opponent.
True story!
They revealed 16 cards on one day with Naxxramas. Generally ~aprox half is teased then rest is posted as a batch.
I would have loved a release on April 1st.
Goat simulator Powwaaa !
One Earth can be refunded, huh? Pluto was already refunded as a planet...
If only you used your investigation powers for something more meaningful!
I feel like there is talent being wasted.
Either way I'd love to play BRM April 3rd :D
Imp Gang Boss, soon you will be mine!
Does being able to see what your opponent mulligans really harm high level play? I know it reveals information, but isn't that just part of the game?
I suppose they could just change it so that you see what your opponent mulliganed after you mulligan your own cards.
The fact that they see it doesn't, in and of it's self, harm high level play - its that both players try to sit there for the full time to watch for the other person to Muligan first - or, sit there and wait till the last possible second so that the other player can't use that information while they are muliganing. Basically, it just screws up the whole Muligan process and makes for poor viewing because the Muligan process always (almost) takes the full time.
At least that's how I understand it to Harm high level play.
Well if this is true they will announce the day officially 5 days in advance like naxx. Which is 31 or 30.
