Rastakhan's Rumble Run - All Rumble-Specific Cards (Passive Treasures & Teammates)
In our continued coverage of the upcoming Rumble Run game mode, today we're taking a look at the unique cards you can get in your runs. Since these cards are exclusive to Rumble Run, they've usually got more power to them for their costs and some really cool effects can be seen.
Choosing a passive or teammate will happen at a currently unknown point in your run. Each selection will be made up of 3 cards from the total pool just like in previous expansions. Are any of these cards stand out favourites? Which class are you hoping to take to Rumble Run?

Anyone confirm if there is anything beyond the card back for your first win? I beat it on my 4th attempt with the hunter trap shrine. If I beat all bosses or with all classes or with all shrines... Is there more?
It would be cool if they released an expansion with cards you collect from packs and collect certain cards from adventures, so that the excitement stays up even on adventure mode. The reward could be a Random Legendary with a cardback instead of getting the free legendary on login.
So this is where all the interesting cards went. I was wondering why Rhastakan cards seemed a bit lackluster.
I'm rather sad the croak jouster and leap frog couldn't be in this expansion cause i love all of the frog cards, just hike up the mana a bit and they honestly could've been playable and fair

The effect of redcrest rocker is so cool. I would have loved to see such an effect for ranked play (obviously for 3 or 4 mana)
The effect is just a fancier version of Omega Assembly, just with dragons instead of mechs.
i am kinda angry these cards can't be used outisde of rastakhan's rumble. they look so nice
Wait a few expansions, there was a card much similar to Da Undatakah (Princess)in the Witchwood solo adventure now they decided to add it to the game :)

These Rogue cards can be added to the main game with a wee bit of adjustments exept pesky one.
Wow, I predicted an "Divine Shield, Overkill: Gain Divine Shield" minion in the Overkill prediction thread. Cool!
Does this adventure give us any packs?
No. Blizz decided to shift pack rewards to logging in during release week.
I think that the HS team should get some serious props for this content. They had to create the art for 90 cards between the shrines, passives and all these unique cards - almost a full expansion worth - for zero dollars in return. Blizz gets a lot of flack for their money grabs, but this clearly isn't one of them.
Also keep in mind when they did adventures. Well dungeon run, monster hunt, and this mode takes way more effort design and balance wise. It kind of like they had to put in the effort of one expansion plus a more complicated adventure in one season
This is shaping up to be really, really strong content. And I'm realizing now that while there's only 9 possible bosses, there's really 27, just like the number of playable classes. I have to imagine that the decks for each of the 27 ramp up with the same OP teammates, and maybe even the shrine passives? While the developers will no doubt build some excellent decks for the final bosses, I'm wondering if their decks might ultimately be somewhat random as well with cards and teammates from the most synergistic buckets.
In fact, this is all so well designed that it almost feels like it could be its own separate PvP content. Why not have a closed Arena-like system where both players are slowly adding cards and building up wildly OP decks with broken cards? Keep the 8-win/single elimination format. Make the reward something extremely nominal, like 10 gold for 8 wins, with a daily cap of 50 gold. People have really been waiting for something more like that ever since the roll-out of Tavern Brawl (which could also use some improvement and added incentives beyond the usual 3-wins/10 gold). Cycle the specialized PvP content with each expansion.
Priest seems to me like the most underpowered class here
Hopefully Naga Tonguelasher is a sign of things to come. Obviously a 1 mana 4/4 with a huge upside is bonkers broken, but put the same effect on a 3 mana 3/4 and you have a tournament-level card.
I'd love to see the Salty Looter effect make its way into the game as well. If they're going to continue to print absurd combos, we need more was to disrupt them other than SMORC!
