One question, does your opponent knows when you draw this weapon, because when you draw it, it takes some time to do an animation?
Opponent doesn't see animation, so I suppose no...
Nope, I'm assuming it should work exactly how a buffed C'Thun works when drawn from your deck (i.e. the slow-mo effect only shows on your end & it looks like your opponent just drew a normal cards on the other end).
I think it would definitely see play in a faster meta after Rallying Blade leaves in rotation... but with Duskbreaker and priest being everywhere I doubt this'll be played much in standard. Wouldn't this be better if you could choose what effect to activate for the battlecry?
If you could choose, it would be pretty good. Right now it's trash.
Not really. Except for the taunt effect all of the other options are great for aggro builds. The only test is whether or not aggro will dominate this meta or not like it has for many metas previously.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED THAT MURLOC WARLEADER HAD THE TEXT FROM BEFORE THE NERFS? SOMETHING HERE IS FISHYYYY!!!
Wild meta is back to Silver Hand Recruits? OK
silver hand recruits have been tier 1 for a long time in wild.
I know, that's why I said the meta is BACK to the recruits
It's never been gone so it's not BACK. It's still here and not going away.
Really? I haven't seen any of them in since KOFT and I play in high legend so... (EU Region, are you from Asia/ America?)
https://tempostorm.com/hearthstone/meta-snapshot/wild/2017-10-28 mid range paladin recruit version is tier 1.
Just checked a bit: it really is T1 BUT- although it saw amazing success and high winrates recently it is only played by 2% of the players in the high rank (according to vicious syndicate).
Unplayable.
If it was a 3\2, it would've been insane, though.
Then it would be a total power creep of war axe just like ralying blade is now.
Yup.
Anyway, Rallying Blade - that's what that better card is called. Thanks.
Yeah, as long as it's in the meta, this card will not see play.
P.S. You know, I'll say that much - 25% of the time this maul is better than the sword. That's not good enough for any deck that takes itself seriously, however.
So 14 of the current 32 revealed cards involves RNG, well done again Blizzard!
Why is this surprising? Many aspects of the game are heavily reliant on rng.
It's mostly manipulated rng, which makes the game more strategic, less predictable, and more fun. Obv it's dumb if you put kathrena in a deck with alley cat and highmane, obviously it's dumb to put 6 Mana 4/4 in a deck with wild growths and wraths, but if you can limit the rng to make an optimal outcome that's fine and fun
