MvonTzeskagrad posted a message on Mike Donais: No Ladder Changes in the Next Set, Current Meta, Small-Time BuccaneerPosted in: NewsQuote from Chocomotion >>the real question is why do the people that always complain about aggro never tech against it?? yea aggro is annoying but there are plenty of ways to shut them down...but sadly most low tier player think that any deck they play should be favored against everything
Who tells you they don't? Is'nt running Second Rate Bruiser, Mistress of Mixtures, Mortal Coil, Doomsayer, Dirty Rat, Mind Control Tech, Demonwrath, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Earthen Ring Farseer and Sunfury Protector and Refreshment Vendor "teching against aggro"? (and this just speaking of renolock)The problem is, not even teching an awful lot against aggro you can be sure you'd not get screwed. First of all, because most aggros will shit on you anyway if they get the dream draws, wich kinda kills the concept of teching against them. Second, because if you start teching too much vs aggro, you'll inmediately get roflstomped by anything slower, and the risk is real in a meta where jade druid is still a thing.Third, let's twist your argument. And why should'nt aggro tech against control? Why is always the control that has to tech against aggro, but an aggro must never add a certain card that prevents certain mechanic to happen (example: Beneath the Grounds vs reno, silence vs big taunts and Twilight Drake...)? No, the last time a real anti-control tech was really used was in LoE where people played Divine Favor and Earth Shock (this last one sometimes is even played recently as a 1-off, but still). Now at most an aggro techs Ooze to fight better vs other aggros. Do they have to always stay in a comfort zone while control players have always to adapt themselves to every single opponent of theirs? -

If you play wild, you know it will cause much bigger problems later (and it already is).
If you don't play wild, you get 1600 dust instead of just 400.
What are you complaining about?

Warlock epic card:
10 cost spell: Deal 5 damage to self. Discard 5 cards. Destroy 5 of your mana crystals. Summon a 5/5 Unlicensed Apothecary

Tell me why you would keep your mana wyrm in your hand when you have 4 mana?

A lot of ppl were talking about using this to gain 10 armor, but this could also be a great baite for Brawl. You can act like you are desperate and play this card when your opponent have a lot of minions in hand, baite the oppoent to play them then Brawl
I see a lot of potential in this

Purify priest was the biggest meme deck last year

They kinda have to, I think they (at least their Chinese department) have to give the code to the government to check, otherwise this regulation would be a waste of time
2
From what I've seen in chinese forums, they had over 55000 legendary players at the end of last month (I'll try to find the picture), so it's quiet a lot
I doubt if legendary players are actually top 0.1% of the player base tho
