One of the main reason behind netdecking is the f2p model and dusting, let me elaborate.

Any player should at least have 1 competitive deck (Unless they're super casual).

There are 2 ways for a f2p to get there:

1. Just open packs and hope for the best

2. Dusting

The problem with dusting that it limits the card choices for new decks, there are less cards to use to be creative with.

So you'll have to play for several months until you have enough cards to build a new creative deck and this may not be enough.

Also, when a new expansion is released. A f2p has a huge disadvantage.

Most people open 100-120 packs. And if you check out the cards they have, they are barely enough for "creative" purposes.

How long does it take a f2p to get 100-120 packs? Can a f2p even get them during the expansion? By the time a f2p even gets them, the end of the expansion have come and possibly everything have been discovered already.

This is WHY it is INCREDIBLY hard for a f2p not to netdeck.

But f2p make up the vast majority of ANY game.

Brewmaster is not a bad card on its own, it can bounce Zilliax and friends vs other matchups. And not only does it help vs the mirror, it helps vs Control Shaman as well. And even if you go first, It also creates situations where Elysiana acts as a psuedo-taunt where the opponent is like "Do I have to remove Elysiana now in fear of Brewmaster or do people not run it anymore?". But honestly, it depends a lot on the upcoming meta.

Thanks to Elysiana nerf, Control Warrior vs Control Warrior matchups have downgraded to "Whoever goes second wins", simply because there's no way for the first player to get 20 cards from Elysiana since the second player can just save removal to get rid of it.

While, the second player can just double Elysiana for 20 cards, that's a 10 card advantage. In a control matchup. Massive advantage.

10-cost Elysiana would've been much much better.
