It's good.
It will possibly shed light on a hidden mode, and its need of balance adjustment: it cannot become the trash bin of cards they did not want to nerf.

Not good against even lock.

Brodesaurus: 4 mana 4/4
Whenever an RNG effect happens, it has either the best or worst possible outcome and Brodesaurus explains why it's good for the game.

I use all 18 slots, have to remove decks all the time because I don't have any free slots.
I do play both standard and wild though unlike a lot of people that only play one mode.
37
The reason why people do not use 18 deckslots is the fact that the meta has like 6-7 decks playable

N'zoth with shredders? Wacky af

Very bad, greedy deck. I was unable to achieve a single win in 10 games.

This is controlled rng so i see no problem with it

You can't slap someone in the face for 2 years and then suddenly come to him and say "well... I don't think it's TOTTALY ok that I've been slapping you" and think to yourself "yeah... that was good. I've made him a whole". So no... I'm not criticizing them for telling us that. I'm criticizing them for acknowledging it like at least (and I'm being generous here and throwing them a bone) a year too late.

Just for a short reminder:
A few weeks ago Blizzard themselves posted that in the longrun (100+ games it was if I remeber this correctly) the absolute best player on the ladder had around 75% winrate. That is for the best of the best (and the variance can be brutal in this casinostone game instead of a more skill focused card game), so anyone who is going to take this brawl shouldn`t expect to go break even. The rewards on the lower ranks are too small, or rather the entry fee to high.
Additionally they want to grab some gold before announcing the new set to make more money when the new set is launching.
Better rewards and the mode could be nice. Also a better system is needed, not single deck elimination but best of x with y decks.

As someone who hates the idea of taking hard earned money and gambling it away, you will have roughly three times more fun taking your life savings and throwing it at slot machines. This Tavern Brawl is about as bad as it gets. Oh, but all your suffering will earn you 40 dust.

It's like when they were designing the card the just took a huge dooky on their keyboard and made it's cost 8 mana.

"I've adapted 5 times!" *Shaman casts Devolve* "I've adapted -1 times!"
6
Won't this "confuse new or returning players?"

You mean the 10/10 I couldn't deal with on 3.

I remember when rogue had a tempo variant in the beta that actually did well, other than that it's been Auctioneer + Spells up until the current version. Expansion after expansion of rogue players only taking cards that helped this combo, and really nothing else has come close to higher tiers. So when they want rogues to revolve around weapons and combos and what not as stated, why haven't they even come close to the mark? After how many expansions now?

Interesting how the chose a list of really bad arguments that were, at best, worded poorly. I've seen a pluthora of good critiques, yet they chose to pull from the comments that start very charged and very unfairly saracastic. Why not address sober responses over what is obviously a hormonal teenager?

Added survival. It's the biggest issue I run in to when I'm playing currently. You can do nice combos when you reduced the mana on your Velen's. It essentially becomes a 2 card reno.

Velen OTK got more interesting. I wonder just how good it will be with the new board wipe.

This card is amazing in Reno decks! Kappa123
