Triggered secrets remain in the deck until drawn. Powerful early game potential balanced by the fact that this hero power becomes useless once you have drawn all your secrets. Apart from being able to release beast from your own traps, it can also have some interesting Control Hunter potential with
Explosive Trap
and
Deathstalker Rexxar
to replace your hero power once all secrets are drawn. Can also have some OTK potential with
Hidden Cache
.
Your card must be a minion. Try and make it as spooky as possible for the good Professor, although it isn't a requirement.
Your card must have one of the following keywords, to show you're really embracing the holiday spirit:
Poisonous
Deathrattle
Lifesteal
"Your card must have one of the following keywords", Does it mean that the minion itself must be a Poisonous, Deathrattle or Lifesteal minion or is it enough if the card just contains one of those word in its text?
It would be important to clarify because I see many submissions that are not Poisonous, Deathrattle or Lifesteal minions (ex. post #6-7-8-9-11 on page 1 of the submission thread).
Alchemist Finklestein is the perfect guest for this party! With a sort-of-similar effect as party-host
Professor Putricide
, he is here to launch a fun new type of Mage: Potion Mage!
Am I the only one to actually like Sen'Jin Tamer ? I mean yes, it's a troll card (it's even a literal troll) but if you have an IQ above 70 this shouldn't be a problem...
I voted for it, and also for Cursed Deal and Eya the Drifter which are original and interesting twists of the otherwise limited "swap" mechanic.
Question for the mods: Is a card acceptable this week simply if it has the word "swap" on it, even if it uses the term incorrectly? Blizzard only ever uses "swap" when you are switching one preexisting thing (card, stat, text, etc.) with another preexisting thing. Both of the swapped "things" still need to exist after the swap. I'm seeing a handful of entries that are using the term "swap" when the correct terminology for their effects should be "play" or "replace" or "transform" etc.
For example:
- "Swapping" a minion with a random murloc is not correct because the original card just disappears and the random murloc card did not exist before the swap. What you mean is "replace."
- "Swapping" a minion with a random murloc in your deck would be correct because both the original minion and the new murloc existed both before and after the swap
I'm hoping cards that aren't using the term correctly will be disqualified. It's a very narrow theme this week, meaning the real challenge is trying to be creative within those narrow confines.
At the end of every season, the three options given with Discover will change based on what were the three least played cards. Options remain the same until the end of the season so that players get build decks accordingly to the options given by Sparklematic. You get a copy of the selected card at full cost and a copy at (0) cost.
Expect new exciting decks being built every season and players being rewarded for using cards that would otherwise never see any play.

Why is this a 5-7?
I mean... look at the card art... thats just a random dude sitting... doesn't look as scary as a Sated Treshadon or Doomguard.

Potions include anything that is on the list of spells that a Kabal Chemist could give you, such as Freezing Potion , Volcanic Potion and Potion of Polymorph .
Beware the almighty Potion of Madness as it could easily ruin the party!

Psst wanna buy a funnel cake?
Transform a 1 mana minion into a 1/1 Jade Golem, a 2 mana minion into a 2/2 Jade Golem... etc.
Counts as a debuff as it removes all abilities and downgrade the stats of most minions.
