Personally, as a full f2p, i would never craft a golden legendary. It makes no sense to me.

im a 5-times season legend with quest mage (over 500 games)
played this deck 30 games: 12-18, 10W against control, 2W against aggro with lucky draw.
For win u need 6 cards: 1x antonidas, 2x simulacrum, 1x apprentice, 1x leyline, 1x molten. More important: u have to play BOTH simulacrum (6 mana) and leyline then (4 mana) before the otk, need 10 mana. In turn 10+ u CAN'T waste these 10 mana in a turn or u are dead (usually have to freeze or play ice block) so u need this:
X turn play simulacrum (or both) with apprentice on hand AND without another 2-drop.
X+i turn play another simulacrum (if just played once).
X+ii turn play leyline.
X+iii turn (turn 10+) OTK.
So u need these draw: apprentice -> simulacrum -> simulacrum -> leyline AND antonidas + molten reflection.
Another one: if 1 simulacrum is your last card -> concede, u can't play this combo because like i said: u will need at least 2 turn the cards in your hand for OTK. BTW the combo is so obvious so dirty rat is a insane counter after simulacrum.
I like the idea and ill try another ways to OTK but quest mage is 30 times more flexible now.

List of Changes:
Changing Ultimate Infestation to 5 mana to fit the soul of the card, it will also ressurect 5 friendly minions that died this game to make it even more flavorful.
Starfall being changed to 4 mana to more closely match cards such as Fireball and Consecrate.
Jade Blossom will now give you a Excess Mana card if played on 10 mana so it's more consistent with Wild Growth.
Force of Nature and Grove Keepers nerfs have been reverted. - We believe this will increase their playability and therefore indirectly decrease the playability of other druid cards which have been seen in decks with high frequencies.
