I think Greenskin's ability is actually really important for the game because very few cards increase durability. It may seem like a pretty vanilla card but unless you're warrior its effect is unique. He's being used right now in kingsbane rogue
I may be misunderstanding the article, but how exactly is paying $20 for a 30 card pack bundle considered a "quest" exactly?
"Participate in card pack quest events to receive mammoth bundles, but you can purchase them separately for a limited period (from the 10.2 update) even if you do not participate in the event."
So you read this part as "You can pay for this quest, or pay for the reward for this quest"
I would suggest malygos druid in wild. Very nice and I think tier 1 now.
He's posting this for standard and he's asking for a simple deck, what the hell.
OP I highly recommend Murloc Paladin. It's very strong right now and fairly straightforward to play. It's mostly just playing good murlocs on curve and killing them through your huge board buffs.
I know you're supposed to "beat the meta" to get to legend, but I'm at a blank at how to do it. I know it's just a mental thing, but I swear every time I change to try and beat the meta, the meta I'm coming up against changes to something different.
This is not true. Yes you should play a solid meta deck to climb but if you climbed to a high rank with a deck you're good with stick to that deck. You will find favored and unfavored matchups regardless.
what you talking about......I am saying that if you played the secret, earlier in game, or when you have mana to do so. then later they play a minion that summons a minion you take control of that minion that he summons. How is that getting the game mechanic wrong.
"The next minion summoned switches side"
Do you know what summoned means. And you aren't going to run a dumb secret that's horribly situational that only activates on minions that summons other minions.
Without cube doomguards aren't super impactful, and dreadlord is a bad pull comparatively. I would cut all those cards, or add in cubes if you want to continue to run doomguard.
You also don't have a way to kill lackeys on your own, so I would put in dark pact. If you just play it on an empty board your opponent can interact with it through something like silence.
So yah just decide whether you want to go for more control or more cubelock, and look at what other people are running in those decks to see if your collection fits to them.
Maybe if you could stick Malygos to the board this would be an okay idea, but you're talking about spending 9 mana to deal 6 damage to face. For 5 mana less, Mage gets to do that and they aren't even stuck targeting the enemy hero. It's wildly inefficient - even if you had the spell power buffs from Maly, you'd still be better off with something like Sinister Strike or Eviscerate for direct damage.
Basically this. If you want to do spell damage with rogue you want to play malygos rogue and malygos rogue has better damaging cards that are more efficient.
You realize this is a buff right? Because now they can get out demons on turn 5 rather than turn 6. Weapon destruction would be useless then. Control locks will just run Skull and no doomguard.
You're saying but then you can poly/silence etc, but you could also just use that turn to play ooze. Whats the difference?
No you put up before like counter spell, can swing advantage to you if played at right time, or give your opponent a minion which benefits you.
Which would give you barnes or spiteful summoner. You don't seem to understand this game mechanic. When you play barnes you are summoning him. Haven't you ever played with or against Crypt Lord or Darkshire Councilman
Did they change the rotation parameters at some point?
**EDIT BELOW**
Ok.. apparently they did change the parameters at some point, I was sure I'd heard it explained how I wrote it above and so I looked it up: Ben Brode explains Standard
Sure enough: "last 2 years of expansion + basic + classic"
"last 2 years of sets"
Nov. 2016 to April 2018 does NOT equal 2 years.
He means last 2 full years from when they do the rotation. We only have rotations at the first expansion of the year, in which only the last 2 full years of expansions are contained.
ya... and there was a discrepancy between what he actually said (words out of his mouth) and what he *apparently* meant.

It looks like more of a control lock.

I honestly don't see the advantage over Hydra since you can razormaw or houndmaster hydra for massive damage.
