    I've pre-ordered every expansion since Un-Goro and a shit ton of packs outside of the pre-orders as well, but it stops now. The events with Hong Kong has lost them a customer. I'll still play HS from time to time but I won't be making anymore purchases and I don't feel as excited about the game as I used to.

    The no-duplicates rule doesn't consider golden or non-golden cards, you'll just get a copy of a legendary that you already have with the same chance of it being golden as always.

     I honestly can't comprehend how your example related to my logic in my explanation. You should breakdown it if it actually related or you might just misinterpreted what I said. 

    I said it doesnt fair for a symmetrical effect (roping damage) to automatically negate itself when hit the user. Because it makes the card basically has no downside (it is 1-mana that always start in your hand). So everyone who doesnt have any play at turn 1 will just include it, while the only way to counter the card is by including 9 mana understatted minion. (Or just play faster, yes, but I talk about the card design) In my perspective, It basically force everyone to include nozdormu in the deck if they want to play normally. That kind of impact is particularly strong so the drawback  should be high too.

     You can't comprehend that me playing a card should have a benefit for myself and not my opponent? Wtf? The downside for this is, like all quests, that you have to spend your first turn playing this. And against a fast aggro deck, for example, this quest will have absolutely no effect at all. You can "counter" it by simply making effective plays.

    Well that was kinda out of the blue... Sad to see this place go, atm there's not really any other HS community that could compare to Hearthpwn, so I really hope that some other actor will pick up the slack.

    Unless you really like single player content, I would advice against buying the adventure with gold since you're 'new' and still building your card collection.

    No, I'd be bored within a day. Nice idea for a Tavern Brawl though. Think there was a similar one were you could only play basic and classic cards (or was it just basic?), but without unnerfed cards.

     I was thinking the same ... but anyway had to ask .. Well i played almost everything back in the days , but i had to admit i played mostly zoolock , demon lock and murloc pala ... so im open to everything , from control to rush decks ...

    I don't play much standard myself but I think zoolock is in a pretty good position right now with the flying carpet and lackeys.

    Well if you're just planning to play standard always focus on the latest expansion for packs and craft a few essentials from previous ones. Pretty sure there's some thread around here for crafting advice. Maybe you should give a bit of info on what you'd like to play, class playstyle etc.

     Check out this guy with no appreciation to the free content we got....because making content is totally not time consuming for the developers. Heck it's just as easy as sitting on my ass and letting out some farts. *slow clap*

    Making changes (nerfs, bug fixes, etc.) is time consuming for the developers, as well. So let's all rejoice and fork over $1 USD each for the next patch. 

    Again, the heist is not really new content. I don't see how a few changes to the existing model warrant a price tag. 

     Patches and nerfs are for repaying technical and design debt owed to the users. New content, which this objectively is, wether you like the content or not, is not.

     That's exactly how such interactions work in the game though. Moving or copying to the same or forward in zones retains buffs.
