Thinking of crafting either Wickerflame Burnbristle or Hobarth Grapplehammer, and I'm not sure which to do, I only have 1,600 gold. WBb looks great for my Wild secret paladin (yeah yeah, I know...); whereas HGh looks pretty freakin' awesome in nearly every format. I wouldn't play him in Control Warrior, but he seems pretty good in any and all tempo oriented warrior list. Besides those, I unpacked White Eyes, crafted Patches, and am a little on the fence about Aya  Not really sold on anything else at the moment.

    thoughts? advice?

Burnbristle can be good on buff decks. He is bad if your deck doesn't have buff cards. Hobbarth is something that I would be happy to get on packs, but feel a bit sad crafting. The weapon boost can be useful, gives your weapon a little bit of reach. Aya is a must have on Jade Golem decks but not sure how good they are.

I would prefer this card text:

Combo: Return a minion to it´s owners hand.

exactly what i did this morning, that cold make rogue a good tempo class, but aparently it's too much to ask for.
That card is broken.. So much tempo gain. Maybe for a higher cost like 4 mana.. You basically add sap to your combo enablers plus you get a 2/3 body...

I think you shouldn't listen to the recent outcry : Rogue players have always been a bunch of whiny drama queens.

Rogue will be fine, Miracle gets even more coins, Jade Rogue look scary, and new tools are coming for tempo Rogue : this class is not going anywhere... I miss my Bomb Lobber more than ever.

To be fair most of rogue cards from the past few expansions was pretty meh.. Aside from Tomb Pillager rogue didn't get anything since the rotation system was implemented. Plus they nerfed a lot of stuff and made entire archtype obsolete (Oil Rogue). They said that the nerf would open up design space and till now we're still waiting for the cool rogue weapon they promised.

Any variant of miracle rogues will always give priests headaches. Azure Drakes, Auctioneers, turn 2 4/4 vancleef with coin and Malygos. Jade Golem Rogues looks good vs for priests too. Constantly dealing with Jade golem could be problematic for priest. Specially on late stages. Reminds me of Jaxx's Inferno!.

I guess you can celebrate when Thaurissan and Tomb Pillager rotates out of standard but not today friend.. Not today...

    Seriously? a 3/2 better than a 2/3?
-A 2/3 won't normaly die to a 1 mana minion unlike a 3/2. In aggro 1 mana minions normally have 1 or 2 dmg, and in the case that they have 1 dmg they have another way to deal another one and even if they can't your opponent will find a cheap way to ping it with other minion or using the hero power.
-Cheap charge minions that some decks use have 2 attack, a 2/3 minion will survive to that.
-A 2/3 minion can trade with 2 mana 2/2 minions and survive and will trade normally against a 3/2 and a 2/4.
    -A 2/3 minion is a better receptacle for buffs than a 3/2.
-A 2/3 will survive against 2 dmg AoE effects and 1 dmg AoE effects won't leave them to a 1 dmg ping of life.

    In constructed a 2/3 is better than a 3/2.
And playing a 2/3 for his body against aggro/zoo is not pointless and is much better than playing a 3/2.

Youthful Brewmaster is not a bad card, it has a fair 2 mana body + a 0 mana effect. It's 2 cards in one. His problem is that he doesn't have the best constructed body (is a 3/2 instead of a 2/3) and that sometimes you don't want his effect to trigger because you want to add preassure but you can't because it would take away a minion you want on the board. This new minion is still 2 cards in 1, with a better constructed body and you can play him to add pressure without losing the board.

Youthful Brewmaster is a card you want to play in a deck where you must use him because you want his effect to trigger yes or yes: Iron Juggernaut

This new card should be played in a deck where you can take advantage of the effect but you don't need it and you want to be able to choose between have a body on the board or to have his effect. In a deck with cards like: Swashburglar

Yes a 3/2 in general is a more desirable statline for 2 drops. A 2/3 just doesn't have that much impact. Aggressive stats is more desirable for cheap minions for the fact that it has better chance to trade up. Its just a better turn 2 or turn 1 with coin tempo play. Same reason why Bloodfen Raptor is more valuable than River Crocolisk.

I get what you're saying but do you really want generic 2/3 body on constructed? Plus the effect is situational (since you don't build around it) and you have to spend resources to trigger it. Doesn't seem worth it to me. So much investment for the bounce. Spend 0-2 mana for the combo enabler and return a minion and then replace it with a generic 2/3 and that mostly happens on later turns since you have to have the resource for the combo. Its an Iffy play if you ask me.

Its better to build around for effects like Brewmaster's. Situations where you get screwed by playing Brewmaster is rare. Its fairly easy to sneak Brewmaster and get some sort of value out of it. So I don't think the "flexibility" matters that much and spending extra resources (combo) for a low impact effect and body can be cumbersome.

This card doesn't have that problem!!! When you need his body you have it, when you need his effect to trigger you will have it too! This card is a much more flexible [card]Youthful Brewmaster[/card] ! (And also in this meta a 2/3 trades much better than a 3/2.)

This card has problems when you actually want to use the effect.
Let's say you want to return a card to your hand and then play it again on the same turn. In some cases you can't do that since you had to spend mana to play the combo enabler. "Youthful Brewmaster doesn't have that problem!!!"
The card isn't perfect but the fact that it's a more flexible Youthful Brewmaster with a better body is making me think about playing it in a thief deck.  This card shouldn't be played in a deck where you want it for it's effect the 100% of the time, if you only care about the effect there are better options. This card must be played in a deck where you don't need the effect but you can take a advantage of it when you make it trigger.

Why? 2/3 body + the flexivility.
3/2 is almost always better than 2/3 has better chance of trading up. This card is not flexible, It does give you the option to not trigger the bounce but I wouldnt say its flexible.  Also bounce effects like these is the kind of effect you want to build around with. You don't play these cards for the body but for the fact that you can abuse battlecry/charge minions with it. It is also a waste of combo enablers if you ask me. So playing this as a generic 2/3 is a bit pointless. I mean, would you really want a River Crocolisk on constructed?

Blizzard just did a reverse power creep.. Seriously this is one of the most uninspiring/lazy card design this expansion.. Pretty dissapointing..

Youthful Brewmasters hate him! Click here to learn more about how you can return a friendly minion with just one card!

Well I understand it's intention: playing in curve: don't cripple yourself. Playing it later? Use its effect for whatever.
This card is a bad on curve play 2/3 without any effect is pretty sad. Seems like a waste of combo enablers too on later turns.  Rogues don't  have good turn 1 play. Only minon being i can think of is Swashburglar which you almost always want to return to your hand. I don't see why you play this instead of Youthful Brewmaster. You put cards like this on your deck to 'abuse' battlecry effects. So pretty you're not getting much value playing this without the combo effect. Brewmaster is aggressively statted too which is always good for cheap minions.

Jade Lotus makes the least sense out of the 3 factions.. Cabal and Grimey Goons made a lot of sense flavorwise.. It feels like with Jade Lotus they just made something out of what was left...

Potential tempo gain is pretty powerful. Need to see other Jade golem synergy for rogues though. Seems good Auctioner based rogue decks but it really needs other Jade Golem cards, and Miracle decks slots are pretty tight.

Pretty much a 1 mana Razorfin Hunter. I'd say a bit better since he gets played a turn earlier and he makes your 1 health murloc on your hand out of ping range. Which is pretty good.

If I get a golden Geddon early on DEng it for tor Rag, Sylv, Tirion, Gromm etch DEing him is not a bad idea. Geddon is a niche legendary. Even the decks run him will do fine without. I must say for the most fun legendary is Deathwing. Geddon is more of a tech choice. Cairne is just boring.

Cairne is rarely played outside of Nzoth decks. He is a bit slow. He is nice to have but not a crucial piece on N'zoth decks. N'zoth will do fine without him. As long as you have high value deathrattle minions like Sylvanas, Tirion, Tomb Pillager, Shifting Shade, Huckster/Thalnos/Loot Hoarder then your N'zoth deck should do just fine.

Thalnos is not really replaceable. Substitutes mostly are inferior. Hard to justify the value he offers if you havent tried him out. Yes you can argue that maly or justicar are better but both of them like thalnos have a different roles.. all are equally important on their respective decks..

Aside from Thalnos I think its good to start crafting staple classic class legendaries. Tirion, Vancleef, Anto, Jaxx are great cards. I doubt Blizz will introduce a belcher level deathrattle when nzoth is on standard. Main problem with N'zoth is that he is almost always unplayable when you are losing. Nzoth is more of a value card/finisher than swing card. He has very little swing potential.
