Against agro I find oil decks are in a race to see who can bust face fastest and sometimes Earthen Ring can give you just that small edge in the race you need. Mind you I don't always play him in my lists, it depends on the meta.

It has won me many games and never was the reason for losing (lifesaver actually, as it can give you sth that can save you outside of your deck). Also, it's a flexible card draw (don't have to wait for sprint or use oracles if you don't want at that turn)
From the minion side maybe consider a second ERF, Thalnos, Shredder or even an Azure Drake (though I prefer Thalnos better)...

The Greenskin inclusion is very cool and I definitely like how it fits in this deck. Gratz on hitting top 100 Legend with this list, and I hope to see it go further!

That is a fair point, though with the heavy representation of Paladin on ladder when I was climbing it seemed to work out fine. The more standard list with Thalnos and Drakes tends to get much better value out of FoK in the other matchups, but then again, sometimes you just use it to cycle.

Burgle is a cool card, but I'm not the biggest fan of it. It's sort of a wild card...it can win you games, but you can't always rely on it. You are correct about it being flexible draw, which frequently gives you some good options, but usually you want to have cards from your own deck that you know will help you in some way, rather than cards from your opponent's class. It is sometimes scary to drop coldlights because of the fact that you are giving your opponent cards, but as rogue you typically value your own draws more (getting the right set of cards can lead to you ending the game quickly). You could run it for fun, but I would probably want another minion like one of the ones you suggested (and add shredder to that list as well)

VanCleef is a really nice card to have at times. You ideally want to play him as either a 4/4 or 6/6 (to play around BGH), though at times it is appropriate to just toss him down as a 3 mana Deathwing. The thing about him is that it can be VERY tempting to just go all-in with him; a large majority of the time you will not want to use cards for the sole purpose of getting him better. The niche he fills is unique, so rather than trying to replace him with a card that does something similar (and likely does a worse job at it), I would try to find something that covers some other weakness of the deck. Azure Drake is always good in rogue (cycle, spellpower, decent midgame body), though I feel it is just a bit too slow for this list. I would recommend either another Earthen Ring Farseer (against aggro) or a Piloted Shredder (against midrange/control). If you have Bloodmage Thalnos he could also work.

Thank you! I have been alternating between the more standard oil rogue lists and this one, and I've gathered that the standard lists with shredders/drakes do much better vs druid, whereas this list has a better winrate against everything else, and I say this having played around 100 games with each. Though with druid being so popular on ladder, it's hard to say which one is more optimal overall.

The pleasure is mine. Thanks for the gameplay video; glad you enjoyed the deck! :)

Rogue is definitely playable, it's just not the easiest class to play. To be fair it used to be broken (miracle), so it's not like it's ALWAYS been this way. And for a time Oil Rogue was considered a top deck!

There isn't really another card that does quite what Greenskin does, though you could try Bloodmage Thalnos, Piloted Shredder, Azure Drake, or a second Assassin's Blade (for consistency, otherwise a second Dread Corsair). Hope that helps!

Glad you're feeling that! Harrison doesn't seem to fit the deck too well in my opinion, though he can single-handedly win you the mirror. He's certainly not bad, but Greenskin fits in line with what this deck is trying to do much better. Plus pirates are just cool ;)

That is an acceptable change. Thalnos is really great in just about any rogue deck, though Greenskin gives this deck a decent boost in the midgame. If you have him, I would definitely recommend trying him out!

I found senjin to be better for filling out my curve in a lot of cases (a lot of the time I want to be able to holy nova or do a pyro combo on turn 5). Also, with belcher there is the possibility of resurrecting the token, and we really don't want that. Most of the early game minions in this deck would be fine to resurrect, as they contribute to card draw or board clears. Personally I didn't want to add the slime token to my resurrect pool. But belcher isn't a bad choice here either. If you want to run a version without resurrect I would probably include belchers in that.
