Just curious, wouldn't Diligent Notetaker still be better than Pandaren Importer? Notetaker ensures you get back a spell that you put in your deck, which is going to be one you want... since you put it in your deck. Is there some other reason for this choice?

I lost my first game to combo rogue this season because of this deck.
Still fun though.

Is that how this functions?

I've eaten between 30-40 since the stormwind update.

Totally valid playstyle and I'm a huge proponent of other people finding ways to make Diligent Notetaker work for them.
Pandaren Importer keeps me off my back foot. It happens for two reasons;
The first is that overloading on turn 2 feels gross with the other cards in my deck. There's more value in unlocking my mana with 4 or 5 overloaded crystals on turn 4, after board clearing with Perpetual Flame. It's less awkward to achieve valuable overload on the turn you unlock your crystals if you don't overload on 2.
If Quest Shaman has poor solutions in a matchup, then I have a chance at a way out. Shaman have plenty of excellent removal spells to fall back on and it's beneficial to have options outside your deck composition rather than just copying a spell. Many opponents are familiar with your deck, and will be vulnerable to cards they don't think you have. That's an understated playstyle I rely on. See for example: Mutanus :)

This deck feels great!

This deck is terrible. Don't play it on ladder.

This deck is aids. You will rarely draw the 2/30 cards you need to make this deck worth playing. It is indescribably infuriating watching the bottom 8 cards in your deck be faceless / aya / white eyes / volcano - Every... fucking... game.
This deck lacks the card draw to justify only have 3 or 4 usable minions. It is remarkably ineffective and you should probably avoid it.

I don't want to hear your stupid bullshit rap. Where is the card reveal promised on the 24th?

This deck needs board clear or a large taunt that doesn't overload you. You are unable to play N'zoth the turn after you heal or clear the enemy board. I believe removing 1 Earth Elemental or 1 lightning storm and replacing that with Primordial Drake solves this problem.
This minion often demands hard removal from mages and shaman through hex and polymorph which frees up your white eyes or Aya - whichever you haven't found yet.

Uhh 70% winrate in an agro meta for a deck with shite board clear? Lies
