posted a message on Dalaran Heist is a bummer

I cant speak for yall, but I'm having fun in this adventure. Sure it's a copy of other adventures, but I'm enjoying all of the new heroes and hero powers as well as treasures. Say what you want but if you dont enjoy it, dont buy it. My only complaint is having to wait a week for the next heroes to come out.

When the final boss started with more mana, it made my mana match theirs. I also had a spell repeat twice, twice; as well as drawing me an extra card at the start of turn. It made one of minions turn into a legendary and reduced Banana Buffoon by 1 mana. Tbh I only ever picked this treasure because the other 2 were shit

Explain how a 4 mana 4/10 taunt rush with 2 mana effect attached is balanced. Amani War Bear loses 2/1 worth of tempo for those two keywords alone. Also most of your cards are way overtuned. Like an Arcane Intellect that doesnt bring you closer to fatigue is still 3 mana, and then you have a 4 mana 3/3 to follow up on that draws you those 2 same cards.

I assume you're referring to this card (and Dead Man's Hand )? Onsite doesn't shuffle copies of cards of your hand into your deck, but it shuffles your actual hand into your deck, making it a risky inclusion because once you play it, your hand is gone. There are no more cards in your hand. Initially, it was a 4/8, but some people on discord said that losing your hand was worth more than 2.5 mana worth. Should I change it back?

Additionally, yeah, this doesn't bring you any closer to fatigue. Is shuffling four cards into your deck worth 1 more mana? Personally, I don't think so, but I could be wrong. Additionally, I can't change Witchwood cards, because I completed them in the previous phase. This includes...

Excavatorc, which does nothing if you don't combo it with cards like the aforementioned Corrupting Woods. This can be compared to Elven Minstrel , which does have 1 less Health, but I believed that since Archaeologist had less shuffle support (at the time, it had only appeared on 2 Archaeologist cards) that Excavatorc could be pushed. Additionally, there are some downsides to Excavatorc, the key ones being that it can draw cards that your opponent shuffled into your deck. Although It may be strong, those interactions should tune it down.

Alright the Onsite Enforcer, that's my bad, I'm bad at reading. Its stats are fine given how little draw there is within this class. The only problem with that is for design space, you cannot create high cost, high stats minions that draw cards. Right now a 4 cost 4/10 rush taunt is a massive tempo advantage and board presence, even though it has the downside of making you netdeck for most of the game. I think its mana cost is too low and you'd need to make it at least a 6 cost so it has less of an ability to combo with other board swinging cards, but raise its stats accordingly.

And yes adding 4 more cards to your deck is worth 1 more mana because it shuffles 1 more card than Lab Recruiter and instead of a 3/2 body (worth around 2 mana) you get to draw 2 cards (worth around 3 mana) which, I would argue is better than the body as you have built Archeologist to be a very control oriented class. Also, Lab Recruiter sees no play, while Arcane Intellect has seen a lot of play.

Excavatorc is by itself, yes, a worse Elven Minstrel but I was more referring to those two cards working in tandem and ridiculously high synergy. Corrupting woods turns a 1 star card (worse Chillwind Yeti ) into a 5 star card (better Gnomish Inventor ) and they tempo into one another. Additionally you said that you could draw cards shuffled into your deck by your opponent, which I would argue is not a bad thing. I believe for the most part you were referring to bombs but as an armour class you don't really care about the damage but you do also get to draw a card you decided to put into your deck (with how cast when drawn works). Moreover if you get Psychic Scream 'ed then you remove bad topdecks with this card as well.

P.S. I dont know how this competition thing worked I just saw this page on the home page and wanted to look your cards. I love the flavor but some of the cards are a little too much

I actually managed to win as Ragnaros in this. Granted I scrapped by with 3 health and any direct damage spell would've killed me but I still ended up winning

Just beat a Lucentbark druid as control priest. Was able to successfully Mind Control both lucentbarks he created before he could make more. Then I found a Faceless Manipulator through Madame Lazul to get a third one. Kinda wish he didnt concede so the game could've gone on longer

posted a message on How will Blizzard nerf Warriror?

It'll be a damn shame if Blizzard nerfs warrior, considering all meta reports show hunter and druid boasting better winrates. In all honesty, yall are focusing on the wrong problem. The real problem that no one seems to address is the massive amount of cheap, efficient card draw/generation (Crystalsong Portal, Master's Call, Book of Specters, Raiding Party, and Omega Assembly). Point being, every class that has these cards has at least a tier two deck, and every class that doesnt isnt doing too well in the meta. The exception to this is shaman, but shaman also got Underbelly Angler.

You want to run resurrect package with Catrina Muerte but you run cheap minons like Northshire Cleric and Dead Ringer which are cut from standard res priest decks (also EVIL Conscripter and Spirit of the Dead not only mess with your res pool but they don't even see play). You want big things to die to get value from Spirit of the Dead, Catrina Muerte, and Mass Resurrection but the biggest thing you'll pull from the res pool is Catrina Muerte herself. The two taunts you have are nice on paper, but they dont create unfair amounts of value or enough survivng power that a combo heavy deck like this desperately needs.

I understand exactly what you want to, as I myself have tried iterations of a deck similar to this (I don't have a decklist to prove this but take my word for it). The idea behind the deck is great in theory (get a bunch of minions shuffled into your deck so you dont fatigue), but this idea requires big late game minions that impact the board significatly (Standard doesnt really have this other than Baron Geddon and Tunnel Blaster*). Cards like Obsidian Statue that sadly doesn't exist in Standard would be perfect for this. Priest needs early game spells that can control the early board and survive into late game to set up these big plays as well as more minions that become unfair when played cheaply or resurrected repeatedly, which both are sadly lacking at the moment.

*Tunnel Blaster is still a bad card as the taunt usually kills the small minions that the deathrattle would've but it technically falls under this category

    Hello fellow deckbuilders,

I am looking for off meta priest decks to make some fun youtube content.
If you have a fun priest deck share it here and maybe i will showcase you awesome creation
There is 1 restriction you need to put in at least 15 Rise of shadows card in the deck
    Good luck and have fun

so u want a fun deck with 20% winrate?

If you manage to make a deck with those restrictions and manage to get a high 20% winrate, you basically broke the game.
Priest is in such a bad state right now and the devs could have known it. Not giving Priest a new mass removal while the game spits out minions like crazy....

They only gave priest Convincing Infiltrator which is pretty much useless. Destroying 1 random minion for 5 mana while the opponent keeps floading the board is a lost turn.

The only reason Priest was doing well before the expansion was because of 3 very good removals of which 2 rotated out and nothing came in return.

I wouldnt count priest out yet, both res and silience priest have potential, the meta isnt going to stay the same, so those might pop up later.

Res and silence priest have both already shown how effective they are at tier 3. The point standing is that the meta is shaping out to be full of wide tempo boards that can be refilled quickly and consistently, and priest is just unable to keep up as it currently has no cheap board clears.
