I reached legend today with new Even pally. Yep ppl just net deck and dont think b6 themselves. Im sure a pro player wilk come up with a great version with even pally. Its a midrange deck that can out value aggro tokens has removal has big minions and buff options for late game hammering. Usually closes the game by turn 9-11
one mana nerf to spiteful summoner does nothing to druid... a class that ramps.
Um yes it does lol. Even with ramp it still delays getting bunched in the face by at least one turn. That means aggro has at least one extra turn to kill the druid and control/tempo have an extra turn to draw into more answers for the Spiteful minion. Not only that but it requires fewer turns that control needs to stabilize before reaching their power turn (such as warlocks only needing to survive 3 turns before playing Gul'Dan instead of 4 turns. That is a major difference when you think about it).
Additionally, it also allows for a slightly increased chance that the Spiteful Druid will draw into one of their UIs before being able to play their first SS.
Just because T5 didn't adopt a dumb 'perfectly balanced' idea for how SS was 'supposed' to be nerfed doesn't mean the one mana increase doesn't affect the deck's consistency somewhat.
People are really reaching to defend the nerf. I’ll take a 12/12 for 7 all day...and that’s worse case scenario. Spiteful Druid will be everywhere tomorrow and moving forward.
The Spite nerf will do nothing to hold back Spite Druid. They don’t need it on curve like priests do. With that being said, turn 7 is still too early. The spawn should have been capped.
Dark Pact i want this card cost's get increased to 8 and the text is " your opponent wins the game", i dont want to see this card in hearthstone anymore.
I wish you had eyes and maybe really played this game. What classes are you getting, REALLY? Because I haven't climbed with warlock and the decks I get more are paladin, spitefuls and yes, the always around priests. Besides the new taunt druid. Control and cubes, dead at turn 6, before they can get heavy stuff in. But yeah, thanks to all this whining with warlock, you'l get AGAIN overpowered spitefuls and taunt druids and it will be like the jade fiesta we had before, but now with infinite taunts and/or with tyrantus at turn 6. That's 12 damage YOU CAN'T REMOVE, not 10 you can target with spells.
I hate this nerf whining, ASK FOR BUFFS to the other classes, like warrior for example, which keeps getting ridiculous meme legendaries and nothing really useful. It's because of you cards like Yogg, that were fun to play, and know have spells like cataclism and treachery called randomly, got nerfed. But hey, then you got over a year of razakus and pirates, those were great fun....
I face warlock like ALOT, and every single one of them uses dark pact to with Cube or lackey, the issue is not the card can synergize with another card, it's ok their are lots of annoying cards like this, but why the massive 8 HP ?
Pact on Rin is an issue too. Hurts the control meta. IMO it was dumb to get lock all this heal. It counters the negative effect of the best hero power in the game. There is no penalty to tapping now.
G sh*t, they heal way more then what they tap so many times over...
What’s your point? My point is it negates all the health loss from tapping. They can continue to draw early without worrying about lethal.

I find wins via broken cards and synergies cheap and not fun. I also don’t believe they promote skill and deck building which can form complacency.
