Does Blizzard even play their own game!? So after all the nerfs come tomorrow the ladder is going to be 80% Druids because somehow Blizzard thought it was a great idea to just let Druid "slide by"
Amazing how people always complain about something like they can't understand that there will ALWAYS be a top tier deck no matter how many nerfs they may ask and obtain. Enjoy Standard's Ladder, where each time you can just find 1-4 different decks.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

Besides the Spiteful nerf? What kind of Druid are you talking about? Taunt Druid is not very good and easily countered.

"I don't like a deck so this means Blizzard is incompetent"

You are hitting the nail on the head here. These complaints are exhausting.
one mana nerf to spiteful summoner does nothing to druid... a class that ramps.
You do realize the spiteful deck doesn't ramp much, right? 2 Greedy Sprites is all it can run without messing up its guaranteed 10 drop. Most games I've played with the deck I draw the sprites after they are useful anyway. Regardless, the deck isn't overpowered and didn't need much of a nerf. I think slowing down spiteful a turn is sufficient. People just want to cry about any deck that is somewhat powerful.
The Spite nerf will do nothing to hold back Spite Druid. They don’t need it on curve like priests do. With that being said, turn 7 is still too early. The spawn should have been capped.
I like how the OP hasnt responded to everyone saying that druid took a nerf with spiteful costing one more mana and the fact that there arent any other super high tier druid decks that need a nerf... nice thread, OP...

Um yes it does lol. Even with ramp it still delays getting bunched in the face by at least one turn. That means aggro has at least one extra turn to kill the druid and control/tempo have an extra turn to draw into more answers for the Spiteful minion. Not only that but it requires fewer turns that control needs to stabilize before reaching their power turn (such as warlocks only needing to survive 3 turns before playing Gul'Dan instead of 4 turns. That is a major difference when you think about it).
Additionally, it also allows for a slightly increased chance that the Spiteful Druid will draw into one of their UIs before being able to play their first SS.
Just because T5 didn't adopt a dumb 'perfectly balanced' idea for how SS was 'supposed' to be nerfed doesn't mean the one mana increase doesn't affect the deck's consistency somewhat.

People are really reaching to defend the nerf. I’ll take a 12/12 for 7 all day...and that’s worse case scenario. Spiteful Druid will be everywhere tomorrow and moving forward.

The only Human Cube
Druid actually takes a hit through Tyrantus coming out one turn later.
Dab
What would they nerf?

Like everyone else said spiteful was the problem. That one turn nerf really hits it.
Wow...this takes the cake....DO YOU play the game? No nerfs to druid....maahahahahahahahahah
People complain about spiteful Druid a lot but i never had to big of a problem with it, with me it always came down to card draw.

+1 mana has a huge influence in Hearthstone, Bonemare for instance, never ever see it again after neaf, almost forgot how powerful it was.
...
Nerf what exactly. Spiteful just got dumpstered and taunt druid isn’t even that good.
