posted a message on Are people embarassed playing Jade Druid?

I sent friend request to people who I enjoyed the match with, and with the intent to ask if they enjoyed playing that deck. I only came to the question about embarrassment because no one accepted. Generally people accept after a hard fought match.

posted a message on Are people embarassed playing Jade Druid?

I just faced 6 Jade Druids in a row and not a single one accepted my friend request. Some were actually good games, even though they all pretty much follow the same formula. I seriously have not seen a more formulaic, paint-by-number, deck since I have been playing Hearthstone. Is it even fun to play like that?

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!

So if you are going to request/accept friend don't be a coward and send a message then un-friend. At least wait for a response. I just had a arena match with a player named EyeKykYoNutz and had this happen. Legitimate salt, or taunting is fair game, but this guy taunted after a match where I was clearly absent for most of it.

I started a match and then got pulled away. When I returned it was turn 4 and my rope was flying across. I missed that turn and managed to drop something the next turn, but clearly it was too late by then. He proceeded to spam Thanks! to every move from then on.

After the match I friend requested just to comment that I was gone for most of the match. He accepted, sent "your fucking bad player" and de-friended.  It's stupid and silly for this to bother me, but he really has no idea whether I am a good player or not. I tried to re-friend, but he is your typical internet coward.

Ok, vented. Am I alone in this feeling this is a case of lack of testicular fortitude?

posted a message on How many different decks do you play?

I asked because I just had a match in casual that went to the point of him being in fatigue, yet I lost playing a RenoLock that never drew Reno (with 3 cards left)!n  He friend requested me and I (naively) expected a GG but got a  comment that read "only boys with descended testicles play RenoPuss."  Now I give him credit for the creative rant, yet it was fueled by some huge assumptions (not about the testicles).  Not to mention in a casual game who cares.

I was actually playing the deck for a quest, and also for fun, but don't most of us play a variety of decks? I have my deck list full and am always rotating out ineffective decks for new ones and playing decks based on the current meta.  Isn't this standard practice?  So how many decks are in your standard rotation at any given time?

Plus anyone who thinks Reno Lock is an easy to pilot deck, especially in the current meta is a tool and a noob themselves.

posted a message on Another attempt to get value from Blood of the Ancients, a ressurect Priest!

So I tried to make a balance of card draw and resurrection to maximize the possibility of getting this to work.  As it turns out this is not the decks only win condition since it is largely constructed like a standard Resurrect Priest. In testing I have won about 50% of my matches and have gotten The Ancient One to process in about 75% of those.

I had one match versus a Paladin where Barnes drew it on turn 4, I Faceless Manipulator'ed it on turn 5 only to have him cast Equality. I then Resurrected it and he cast Equality again.  A few turns later I got with a two turn combo of the full Blood of The Ancient One card and a following turn Faceless Manipulator.

Try it out, give me feedback and suggestions on how to improve it...and have fun!

Flavor: "This power always comes with a cost..."

This could swing a game with a judicious use. Wipe out that Brann, or gamble and wipe a C'Thun early. Or you miscalculate and wipe the wrong minion, only to have the one you didn't choose wipe you later.

My idea for a Rogue card

posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.02 [SUBMISSION]

The wording may need some work, but  the idea is that while this is on the board both players will get Abominations summoned from minion deaths.  For every 2 minions deaths, their own or the enemy, they will get an Abomination on their turn.  Only full increments of 2,. For example; If 5 are killed, 2 will be summoned.  It only processes for the active player each turn.

I kind of like the idea of building a whole set of building cards that generate minions and spells.  Some with dependencies on others buildings, upgrades and interactions based on the WC3 rules.  Who likes this idea and would like to see it developed further?  Rather than just with a single card?

posted a message on Share your Standard Epic Plays!

Warlock at 3 health against Hunter with full board (7 on his side, 2 on mine). He has no hand but 15 cards in deck.  I have 3 cards DOOM! [/card] [card]Reno Jackson and Doomsayer.  I drop DOOM! wipe the board and draw 9 cards, losing only one. He drops the single card he draws on the next turn and hits me for 2.  I drop Reno Jackson and begin to fill my board. Incredibly demoralizing to him. He quits a few turns later since he can't catch up to my board.
